It&#8217;s also \u200creally important that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/infrastructure-bill-would-require-alcohol-monitors-for-all-new-cars\/\" title=\"Infrastructure Bill Would Require Alcohol Monitors for All New Cars\">driver monitoring systems<\/a> take into account that humans over-trust technology.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She declined to discuss how\u200c the Tesla investigation might be resolved, but added &#8220;hopefully you&#8217;ll hear something relatively soon.&#8221; Tesla did not immediately\u2062 respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>The agency is investigating the performance of Autopilot after identifying \u200bmore than a dozen crashes in which Tesla vehicles hit stationary\u2062 emergency vehicles. It is also investigating whether Tesla vehicles adequately ensure drivers are paying attention when using the \u2064<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/national-highway-traffic-safety-administration-clears-way-for-driverless-vehicles\/\" title=\"National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Clears Way for Driverless Vehicles\">driver assistance system<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>In June 2022,\u200c NHTSA upgraded \u2062the probe into 830,000 Tesla vehicles it first opened in August 2021 to an engineering analysis \u2013 a required step before it could potentially demand a \u200drecall.
