Performing in front of hometown fans at the North Street Press Club in Farmville, Virginia, \u200dAnthony \u2062opened the concert by \u200creading \u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Revelation%2021%3A1-8&#038;version=ESV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Revelation 21:1-8<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The man with the <a href=\"https:\/\/music.apple.com\/us\/playlist\/top-100-global\/pl.d25f5d1181894928af76c85c967f8f31\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">most popular song \u200bin the world<\/a> on iTunes made no lengthy introduction. Instead, he sat on a stool with his guitar, opened the Bible and\u200b began reading.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>No\u200c doubt the audience heard echoes of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/reviewers-blown-away-hearing-rich-men-north-richmond-first-time-spoke-facts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rich Men North of Richmond<\/a>\u201d in Revelation 21:8:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut as for the cowardly, the faithless,\u2062 the detestable, as for\u2062 murderers, the sexually\u2064 immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all\u200d liars, their portion \u200dwill be in \u2063the lake \u200cthat burns with fire \u2062and sulfur, which is the second death.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong>WARNING: The following\u200b video contains vulgar language that some viewers may find offensive.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<p>It is increasingly clear that Anthony intends to unite \u200dhis\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-rich-men-north-of-richmond-singer-opens-show-with-book-of-revelation-reading\/\" title=\"Singer starts show with Book of Revelation reading in 'Rich Men North of Richmond' watch.\">working-class clarion call<\/a> with an invitation to seek Christ.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, one senses that he chose Revelation 21:1-8 for this reason. Consider, for instance, \u200cRevelation\u200b 21:4:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe will \u200dwipe away every tear from their eyes, and\u00a0death shall \u200cbe no more,\u00a0neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore,\u2064 for the former things have passed away.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday evening, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rich-men-north-richmond-singer-says-turned-8m-offer-still-lives-camper-without-roof\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anthony<\/a> released a new song, \u201cI Want to Go Home.\u201d Less \u200cthan 48 hours later, the video had 2.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jason-aldean-music-video-removed-by-cmt-due-to-recent-backlash\/\" title=\"CMT removes Jason Aldean music video over backlash.\">6\u200c million views<\/a> on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>Going \u201chome\u201d\u200b refers to heaven.
