There must be accountability.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Activists supporting the \u2063homeless argue that the city should not have the authority to remove them from the streets.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Through this \u2063lawsuit, we aim to\u200c compel the city to cease violating \u200cpeople&#8217;s fundamental rights. We want them to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hundreds-protest-court-mandate-preventing-removal-of-san-francisco-homeless-camps\/\" title=\"Hundreds protest court order blocking removal of SF homeless camps.\">stop \u200bunlawfully confiscating property<\/a> and criminalizing individuals who\u200d have no choice but to live on the streets,&#8221; said \u2063Jennifer Friedenbach, executive director \u2064at the Coalition on Homelessness.<\/p>\n<p>This conflict arises as San Francisco continues to experience a decline in businesses due to escalating crime and homelessness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Businesses Leaving San Francisco<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>San Francisco has witnessed the closure of several prominent businesses in recent times. Old Navy announced the \u200bclosure of its flagship store in\u200c May. Whole Foods and Nordstrom have also shuttered their businesses \u2064in the city due to safety concerns.
