Mardenborough&#8217;s car flew through the air \u200cand crashed through\u2063 a fence, resulting in injuries to \u200cseveral spectators \u200band the loss of one life, as reported \u200bby\u2063 People Magazine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In an interview\u2062 with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.driving.co.uk\/news\/interview\/jann-mardenborough-nurburgring-crash-gran-turismo-movie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Driving.co.uk<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Mardenborough expressed his support for including\u2063 the fatal crash in the movie, stating that it would\u200c be a disservice to\u200d the \u2064audience to leave \u2063it \u2064out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cIt&#8217;s my life. It&#8217;s part of \u200cmy story,\u201d said the pro racing star. \u201cI made sure that the production accurately portrayed what happened because someone lost their life in this\u2063 accident.
