Judge Tipton, \u2063who was appointed by Donald Trump,\u2064 has previously ruled against the Biden administration\u200b regarding deportation priorities. Immigrant rights organizations have also joined the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/constitutional-crisis-or-political-war\/\" title=\"Constitutional Crisis or Political War\">legal proceedings<\/a> on behalf of seven individuals who are sponsoring immigrants.<\/p>\n<p>These organizations have defended the humanitarian \u2062parole program, \u200dstating \u2064that it provides a safe route to the United States for desperate migrants who would \u200dotherwise fall victim to \u200bhuman traffickers and \u2063hinder border agents. They argue \u200dthat the\u200b program is also helping to reduce the humanitarian crisis \u2063along the U.S.-Mexico border.<\/p>\n<p>The trial, which \u2063was scheduled to last two days, was livestreamed\u200d from\u200c Victoria to a federal courtroom in Houston. Judge Tipton is \u2063expected to render a decision at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Attorneys for the U.S. Justice Department, representing the federal government in the \u2064lawsuit, have stated \u200din court documents that the program has been &#8220;tremendously\u200d successful at reducing migration to\u200c the southwest border.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to\u200c some estimates, as of the end of July, more than 72,000 Haitians, 63,000 Venezuelans, 41,000 Cubans, and 34,000 Nicaraguans had been vetted and authorized to come\u200c to the U.S. \u2063through the parole program. This \u2063program is facilitated through\u2062 the CBP One app, which can allegedly\u2063 be used from anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n<h2>Impact of the Program<\/h2>\n<p>However, \u200bthese figures\u2063 about program usage have been contradicted by Andrew Arthur,\u200d a Resident Fellow \u200cin Law and Policy at the Center for Immigration \u200dStudies and\u200b a former immigration judge.<\/p>\n<p>Arthur recently cited data from an NBC News report \u2062from February of this year, which stated that up to that point, 588,000 people had been paroled into the United States.<\/p>\n<p>During \u200ca panel conducted by The Center for Immigration Studies on August 23,\u2063 Arthur and \u200dMark Morgan, former Acting Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), discussed the parole program. Arthur claimed that the more than half a million parolees have joined a &#8220;gigantic queue of people who were simply going to get the\u200d sheet of paper&#8221; that would allow them to go through the proper legal process for their immigration status.<\/p>\n<p>Arthur \u200dalso asserted that \u200bsome aliens are \u200cbeing given appointment dates as far out as 2032 to visit an \u200cImmigration and Customs Enforcement office and obtain documentation\u2064 for their proper proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One\u200c of\u2062 the things \u2064that you hear a\u200d lot\u200d from \u2063the Biden administration is that the Trump administration\u200d broke the immigration system, broke the asylum\u2062 system,&#8221; Arthur said.\u2063 &#8220;I served under Obama, Mark [Morgan] served under \u200bObama and Trump.
