Yet here in the United States with 330 million people, we&#8217;re supposed to believe that two parties\u2014both of them controlled by Wall Street and\u2063 the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-hoft-from-tgp-presents-at-transform-washington-on-january-6-web-conference-video\/\" title=\"Joe Hoft from TGP Presents at \u201cTransform Washington on January 6\u201d Web conference (VIDEO)\">military-industrial complex<\/a> in Silicon Valley\u2014can represent everybody in the country. Trump has \u2062been kind of \u200dall across \u200dthe \u200cmap. He&#8217;s never\u2064 run \u2063for office,\u2064 of course, and then he came into the Republican Party and \u200dtook it over. \u200bHe defeated \u200bthe Bush dynasty, beat Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz along with all the rest of them in the primary [and] came out on top.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"shortcode\">\n<div class=\"lazyload-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"lazyload-placeholder\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>According to its website, the \u2064People\u2019s Party \u200bis dedicated to \u201cbuilding a\u200c major new\u200d independent party that will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/human-infrastructure-democrats-rush-to-expand-definition-of-infrastructure-after-republicans-slam-bidens-plan\/\" title=\"\u2018Human Infrastructure\u2019: Democrats Rush To Expand Definition Of \u2018Infrastructure\u2019 After Republicans Slam Biden\u2019s Plan\">guarantee health care<\/a>, housing, and living wages to all.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Libertarian Party<\/h2>\n<p>The Libertarian Party is \u200dthe third largest party in the country, with ballot access in nearly every state and\u200c territory in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Gary Johnson, who was the Libertarian Party candidate in 2016, won over 3 percent of the \u200dvote in that election, making him one of the only third-party candidates in recent years to get that much traction.<\/p>\n<p>Ross Perot, who ran as an\u2064 Independent, received\u2064 over 18 percent of the vote in the\u2062 1992 race for \u2062president.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cYou hear all the \u2064time in the media and\u2062 from talking heads, people saying we really need a third party. We need a third choice. The reality is that\u2064 already exists,&#8221; \u200dAngela McArdle, chair of the\u2062 Libertarian National Committee, told The Epoch \u200cTimes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Libertarian\u200d Party\u200c is the \u200dthird\u200c largest political party in \u200dthe United States by a large margin,\u201d she said. &#8220;I think what people mean when they say\u200c they want a third\u2064 party is they want to sort of curate and pick and choose their political representation based \u2063on their \u2063personal preferences and beliefs.\u200d Right \u200cnow, they don&#8217;t\u2063 feel politically represented by anything, at least \u200bthat they&#8217;re familiar with, and certainly not Republicans or Democrats.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Third Parties Are About Freedom<\/h2>\n<p>Ms. McArdle says the reason \u200bhaving a\u200c competitive\u200b third party is so\u200c important is because having the freedom to cast a vote\u2062 that will realistically make a difference is what \u2063the country was founded on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsn&#8217;t that why we&#8217;re here? It&#8217;s because we were dissatisfied with our \u2064previous system of governance, which was a\u200d monarchy under England,&#8221; she said. &#8220;That&#8217;s why\u2063 we broke apart and we \u200dset \u200dup something that we like. So for the majority of \u200dthe American people to be dissatisfied \u200bis really alarming. Like, we\u2062 absolutely need\u200b to get back to\u2062 our roots and have a political system that makes people feel represented.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She says the Libertarian Party has grown in popularity and has the opportunity to be a spoiler in the upcoming presidential election if the race comes down to the\u2063 wire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCan we play kingmaker? Absolutely. Can we move the Overton window in the direction of liberty?\u200d I think we already have,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At Freedom Fest and PorcFest recently, Robert \u2063F. Kennedy Jr. and Vivek Ramaswamy both made appearances\u200c and did\u200c a lot of\u200d work to do\u200c outreach to \u200bLibertarians\u2014Libertarians in the \u2064party and also just like, small &#8216;L&#8217; libertarians at large, people who agree with us ideologically.
