While Trump believes that Epstein \u200blikely took his\u200b own life, he also acknowledges the possibility that\u2062 the billionaire was murdered.<\/p>\n<p>During the interview, which aired on Aug. \u200d23 on X, Carlson raised questions about Epstein&#8217;s untimely demise. Epstein, a\u2064 financier \u200cwith connections to influential\u2062 individuals worldwide, was \u200darrested in July 2019 on charges related to operating a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-says-he-thinks-jeffrey-epstein-killed-himself-possible-he-was-murdered\/\" title=\"Trump believes Epstein's death was either a suicide or a possible murder.\">child sex-trafficking \u2063ring<\/a>. This conversation led\u2063 to the topic\u200c of\u2062 Epstein&#8217;s death.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Barr\u200d lies [in his book] about Jeffrey Epstein,&#8221; Carlson said, referring to a claim that an investigation was \u2063conducted. However, the details\u200d of this investigation \u200dhave not been made public.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Do you think Epstein killed himself?&#8221; Carlson asked Trump.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t know,&#8221; Trump replied. &#8220;I will\u2062 say, he was a fixture in Palm\u2064 Beach. I don&#8217;t\u2062 know what Barr said about it. What did he say? He killed himself, \u2062probably?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He said [Epstein] killed himself; \u200che said they were gonna do this \u200binvestigation. They never did the \u2064investigation, it&#8217;s never been public, and they hid it. Why are they doing that? Why would Bill Barr be covering\u2064 up the death of\u200d Jeffrey Epstein?&#8221; Carlson questioned.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Bill Barr \u200ddidn&#8217;t do an investigation on the \u200celection fraud either,&#8221; Trump responded. &#8220;I don&#8217;t know what he did \u200bwith Epstein, but possibly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Do you\u2062 think it&#8217;s possible that Epstein was killed?&#8221; Carlson inquired.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oh \u2062sure, it&#8217;s possible,&#8221; Trump replied. \u2064&#8221;I mean, I don&#8217;t really\u2062 believe \u200dit. I think he probably \u2063committed suicide. He had a life with beautiful homes and everything, and all of a sudden, he&#8217;s incarcerated and not doing \u200cvery well. I would say that he did [commit suicide].<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But there are those people, there are many people &#8230; [that] think\u200d that he was killed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He knew\u2063 a lot on a lot of people,&#8221; Trump added.<\/p>\n<p>Despite believing that Epstein\u200b likely took his own life,\u200d Trump criticized Barr&#8217;s handling \u2062of \u2063the investigation, stating that it was poorly executed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They didn&#8217;t have cameras, they had no anything.
