He expressed solidarity with the affected communities, stating, &#8220;The \u2063country grieves \u200cwith you, stands with you,\u2062 and will do everything possible to help you recover.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In a speech delivered in Lahaina, a town severely impacted by the fires, Biden shared a personal connection to the devastation, recounting a fire \u2062that occurred near his Delaware home in 2004.
