Version: 4.0.47--><h2>Arrests Made as LGBT Activists Clash \u200cwith Parental Rights Group in Los Angeles<\/h2>\n<p>Three people were arrested in \u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/los-angeles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Los Angeles<\/a> on Tuesday when a group of LGBT \u200dactivists clashed \u2064with a \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/3-arrested-in-los-angeles-as-parental-rights-group-clashes-with-lgbt-activists-over-gender-policy\/\" title=\"3 Arrested in LA as Parental Rights Group Clashes with LGBT Activists on Gender Policy.\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bill-would-make-california-a-sanctuary-for-child-sex-changes\/\" title=\"Bill Would Make California A Sanctuary For Child Sex Changes\">parental rights group<\/a> protesting school policies<\/a>\u2064 that keep parents in the dark \u2062about their children\u2019s gender identity.<\/p>\n<p>The incident began when a small group of unruly LGBT \u2063counter-protesters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/parental-rights-protesters-clash-with-pro-lgbtq-youth-in-downtown-la\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">faced off<\/a> with a rally\u200d of nearly 200 parental rights \u200bprotesters, organized by the Instagram-based group \u201cLeave Our Kids Alone,\u201d which was marching from \u200cCity Hall to the Los Angeles Unified School District\u2019s offices.<\/p>\n<p>When the parental rights marchers arrived \u200cat the Los Angeles school district offices, the group of LGBT activists gathered\u2063 on the \u2064opposite side of the street.<\/p>\n<p>The Los Angeles Police Department set up skirmish lines to separate the groups.<\/p>\n<p>However, \u200bpolice eventually declared \u2064an unlawful assembly and ordered all \u2062protesters to\u200b leave the area. \u2062At one point, police attempted to push back the LGBT activists, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxla.com\/news\/lgbtq-youth-lausd-parental-rights-rally\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">led<\/a> to the arrests.<\/p>\n<p>Three protesters were ultimately arrested for failure to disperse, police said, and all three were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/news\/local\/rally-march-to-lausd-headquarters-blocks-streets-near-downtown-la\/3211034\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jailed<\/a> on $5,000 bond.<\/p>\n<h3>Parental Rights Protesters Call for Change<\/h3>\n<p>The parental rights protesters were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxla.com\/news\/lgbtq-youth-lausd-parental-rights-rally\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">calling<\/a> on the Los Angeles \u200cschool district to adopt parental notification policies similar to those passed\u200b by other California school districts, which require schools to notify parents if their child asks\u2062 to go by a new name or \u200cpronouns \u2062or asks to use\u2062 the bathrooms or \u200cplay on the sports teams of the opposite \u2063sex.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTeach the Bible, not porn,\u201d read one protester\u2019s sign.\u2062 \u201cListen To Detransitioners,\u201d read a large\u200b banner carried by\u200b other parental rights protesters. Many\u2063 of the\u2062 protesters wore white shirts emblazoned with the groups \u2063slogan, \u201cLeave Our Kids \u2063Alone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\">CLICK \u2062HERE\u200d TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The smaller LGBT counterprotest was reportedly organized by Queer Nation \u2063Los Angeles and Ground Game LA, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxla.com\/news\/lgbtq-youth-lausd-parental-rights-rally\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accused<\/a> the parental rights group of a \u201chate-filled, fascist agenda of fear\u201d \u200band \u2063\u201ctrying to bring their hate to City Hall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u200dLos Angeles school district said in a statement that it follows state law and \u2062a\u200c state-approved curriculum that \u200b\u201creflects\u200d and embraces the experiences and backgrounds of our diverse community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, the District will always\u2064 and unequivocally provide additional resources and support \u200bfor every student, including those experiencing gender\u200d dysphoria and questioning their sexual orientation, and will respect whatever\u200d decision a \u2063student and their family \u200bdetermines,\u201d an LAUSD spokesperson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/news\/local\/rally-march-to-lausd-headquarters-blocks-streets-near-downtown-la\/3211034\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> NBC Los Angeles in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Two Los Angeles area school districts recently\u200b adopted a policy requiring schools to inform\u2064 parents if their child changes their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/gender\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gender<\/a> identity.<\/p>\n<p>The Murrieta\u2064 Valley Unified School District south of Los \u2062Angeles <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/second-california-school-district-adopts-mandatory-gender-transition-parental-notification-policy\">adopted<\/a> the policy at a school\u200b board \u2062meeting this month.<\/p>\n<p>The policy, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/second-california-school-district-adopts-parental-notification-policy-for-gender-changes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">requires<\/a> parents to be notified of gender\u200c identity changes within three days, is\u2063 similar to\u2063 one adopted last month by the Chino Valley Unified School District just east of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>This month, California\u2019s attorney general\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/california-attorney-general-investigating-chino-school-district-over-gender-parental-notification-policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">responded<\/a> to the Chino Valley district\u2019s new gender identity policy by launching\u2063 a \u201ccivil\u2063 rights investigation into potential legal violations\u201d by the district.<\/p>\n<p>The Chino Valley \u200dschool board president responded \u200dby accusing state officials of \u201coverstepping their boundaries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a ploy to try to scare all the other boards across California \u200bfrom \u200cadopting the policy,\u201d Chino Valley school board president\u200b Sonja Shaw <a href=\"https:\/\/abc7.com\/chino-rob-bonta-investigation-gender-identity\/13603292\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>. \u201cI won\u2019t back down and will stand in the gap to protect our kids from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/second-california-school-district-adopts-mandatory-gender-transition-parental-notification-policy\/\" title=\"Another California school district enforces mandatory parental notification policy for gender 'transition'.\">big government bullies<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Los Angeles, three arrests were made as LGBT activists clashed with a parental rights group protesting school policies that withhold information about children&#8217;s gender identity.
