The former U.S. Supreme Court clerk gave the press \u2063and the Left \u200d\u2014 but I repeat\u200d myself \u2014 a \u200bconstitutional smackdown and lesson on what he says is \u201cthe attempt to criminalize\u201d the \u2063rights of\u2064 attorneys and \u2062their clients.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/trump-fulton-county-georgia-case-co-defendants-surrendering-scott-hall\/\">Fulton County<\/a>, eight out of 19 alleged \u201cco-conspirators\u201d indicted by District Attorney Fani Willis on charges related to allegedly \u2064attempting\u2064 to overturn the 2020 presidential\u2062 election results have turned\u2063 themselves\u2062 in.<\/p>\n<p>Eastman is\u2063 of the infamous \u2014 or famous, depending upon your persuasion \u2014 \u201cEastman Memo\u201d provided to President Donald J. Trump detailing how \u2063Vice President Mike Pence could \u200carguably have the constitutional authority to\u200b delay certification of electoral\u200d votes\u2062 upon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themainewire.com\/2023\/08\/tom-klingenstein-and-john-eastman-interview-part-iii-the-prudence-of-the-jan-6-plan\/\">request<\/a> \u2063by state legislatures\u200b due to\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pres-trump-addresses-the-nation-about-voter-fraud-allegations-this-may-be-the-most-important-speech-ive-ever-made-sara-a-carter\/\" title=\"Pres. Trump addresses the nation about voter fraud allegations: 'This may be the most important speech I've ever made' - Sara A.
