This \u2063body has specifically targeted Peterson for his criticism of transgender ideology, climate alarmism, and the \u2062Canadian government.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The College of Psychologists of\u200c Ontario, which has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/canadian-board-threatening-dr-jordan-b-petersons-license-over-tweets-pushes-radical-gender-race-theories\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">embraced<\/a> radical gender theory in recent years, \u2062has \u2064threatened to remove \u2064Peterson&#8217;s clinical psychology license over his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-here-are-the-10-worst-colleges-for-free-speech\/\" title=\"Report: Here Are The 10 Worst Colleges For Free Speech\">social media activity<\/a> if he\u2062 did not go through a so-called &#8220;specified continuing education \u2064or remedial program.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Ontario Superior Court of Justice\u200b has ordered Peterson to\u200c pay $25,000 to the College \u200dof Psychologists and has upheld the requirement for him to undergo a social media education \u200cprogram.<\/p>\n<p>This organization is not punishing Peterson for any interactions with patients. Instead, they\u2063 are censuring, \u2062fining, and\u2064 attempting \u2062to\u200d &#8220;reeducate&#8221; him for his public comments, including\u2062 those made on social media and during podcast appearances.<\/p>\n<p>Peterson has responded by strongly\u200d criticizing the court&#8217;s decision and vowing to make \u2062&#8221;every aspect&#8221; of the case public.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;So the Ontario Court of Appeal ruled\u200d that [the College of Psychologists of Ontario] can pursue their prosecution,&#8221; Peterson wrote. &#8220;If\u200d you think that you have a right to free speech in Canada, You&#8217;re delusional. I will \u200bmake every aspect of this public. And we will see what happens when utter transparency is the rule. Bring it \u200don.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Some of Peterson&#8217;s supposed offenses, according to the College of Psychologists, \u2063include retweeting Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre&#8217;s criticism of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau,\u200b criticizing \u2063a former senior Trudeau aide, and expressing\u2063 opposition to the idea of the Ottawa police taking custody of the children of Trucker \u200cConvoy protesters.<\/p>\n<p>Other supposed offenses do not involve direct criticism of the \u2064Canadian government. For example, Peterson stated on Joe Rogan&#8217;s podcast that accepting radical gender theory is a sign of\u2064 &#8220;civilizations collapsing,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jordan-peterson-unloads-on-canadian-court-after-it-backs-psychologist-org-attempting-to-censor-him\/\" title=\"Jordan Peterson criticizes Canadian court for supporting psychologist organization's censorship attempt.\">called climate change models unreliable<\/a>, and \u2064criticized Sports Illustrated for featuring a \u200dplus<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bye-for-now-jordan-peterson-says-he-quit-twitter-after-posting-thoughts-on-plus-sized-swimsuit-model\/\" title=\"\u2018Bye For Now\u2019: Jordan Peterson Says He Quit Twitter After Posting Thoughts On Plus-Sized Swimsuit Model\">-sized swimsuit model<\/a> on the cover.<\/p>\n<p>In the latest ruling, the court rejected Peterson&#8217;s \u200dapplication to block the forced training, stating that the\u200c College \u2063of Psychologists had a compelling public interest \u200bin \u200dregulating Peterson&#8217;s statements.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I have concluded\u2064 that \u200bthe application should be dismissed. In my view, the Decision of the ICRC [Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee] adequately and reasonably considered Dr. Peterson&#8217;s statements in the context of the College&#8217;s statutory mandate to regulate the profession in the public interest,&#8221; wrote Judge\u200d Paul Schabas.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Judge Schabas also claimed in the decision that &#8220;the order is not disciplinary\u2063 and does not prevent Dr. Peterson from expressing himself on controversial topics; it has a minimal impact on his right to\u2063 freedom of \u200dexpression.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the release of the \u2062decision, Peterson expressed his unwavering support for his comments.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;The decision of an Ontario court re the allegations levied \u2063against me by [the College of Psychologists of Ontario] is due\u2064 tomorrow. I stand by what I have said\u2062 and \u200ddone and wish them\u200b luck in their continued prosecution. \u2063They&#8217;re going to need it,&#8221; the best-selling author and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/\"><strong>DailyWire+<\/strong><\/a>  host said. &#8220;I tweeted and otherwise expressed my \u2063opposition to trans surgery butchery, [Justin Trudeau] and his minions, and the lying climate apocalypse-mongers.
