Brad Wenstrup\u2063 (R-OH), Chairman of the House Select Subcommittee on\u200c the Coronavirus Pandemic, has announced \u200ca bipartisan investigation into an illegal, Chinese-owned laboratory in California. This\u2063 lab has been\u200c known to work on\u2064 various infectious diseases, including\u200d SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We \u200care committed to investigating the origin of\u200c COVID-19, as well as \u2062assessing\u2064 the federal government&#8217;s ability \u2064to protect America from\u200b biological threats,&#8221; wrote\u2063 Wenstrup in\u200c a letter\u200d to FBI Director Christopher Wray. &#8220;This assessment\u200d is crucial in strengthening\u2064 our preparedness and\u2063 preventing future pandemics.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Concerns \u2062Surrounding the Chinese-Owned Lab<\/h3>\n<p>Prestige Biotech, a Chinese-owned medical company,\u200c took\u200d over a\u2062 research laboratory in\u2062 Reedley, California, after the American-based\u2062 company Universal Meditech filed \u200bfor bankruptcy. Local, state, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-promised-to-throw-his-opponents-in-jail-the-fbi-arrested-a-gop-gubernatorial-candidate-the-next-morning\/\" title=\"Biden Promised To Throw His Opponents In Jail.
