The Washington Examiner reported that the Arizona-based charity Alliance\u2064 for Global Justice, which\u2062 has faced calls for federal investigations due to its \u2062ties to the Popular Front for the\u200c Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror group, is \u200bstill able to fundraise through Stripe despite being\u2063 dropped by software company Salsa Labs.<\/p>\n<p>Financial records reveal that Stripe is\u200b now facing pressure from pro-Israel entities in Spain, \u200cCanada, and the United States to review its policies and refrain from handling contributions that could <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/payment-processor-stripe-urged-by-pro-israel-groups-to-drop-palestinian-terror-linked-ngo\/\" title=\"Pro-Israel groups call on Stripe to sever ties with Palestinian terror-linked NGO.\">potentially \u200cfund foreign terror organizations<\/a>. In a letter addressed \u200cto\u200b Stripe \u2062co-founders John Collison and Patrick Collison, President Marc \u200cGreendorfer of \u2062the \u200bZachor Legal Institute, a think\u2063 tank fighting antisemitism, emphasized that Stripe&#8217;s apparent inaction is not\u200d in line with\u200b their legal and ethical obligations. Greendorfer also\u2064 expressed willingness to address any inquiries Stripe \u200dmay have regarding their \u200dwork.<\/p>\n<h3>Escalating\u2063 Efforts to Cripple \u200dAlliance for Global Justice<\/h3>\n<p>This written request to Stripe represents the latest escalation\u2063 in efforts to financially\u2063 cripple the\u200c Alliance for Global Justice. Watchdog \u2063groups such as the\u200c Zachor\u200d Legal Institute and the \u2062National Legal and Policy Center have accused the organization of providing material\u2064 support\u200d to terrorism, which would be a \u2062violation of federal law. Stripe \u2063began processing donations\u2063 for the alliance after Salsa Labs ceased handling their\u2064 credit card transactions earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>Congressional Republicans, including House Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY), and Rep. Cathy \u200dMcMorris Rodgers (R-WA), \u2064have also\u200b urged \u200cStripe and\u2063 other American companies to refrain from providing services to Palestinian terror\u200d or antisemitic advocacy\u200c groups. Records indicate\u2062 that the Alliance for Global Justice has fundraised \u200cfor Collectif \u200dPalestine Vaincra, a\u2064 member of the \u200cIsraeli-designated terror coalition Samidoun, which the Arizona charity has financially sponsored.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the Connection Between Samidoun\u200d and the PFLP<\/p>\n<p>The pro-Israel groups in the coalition letter pointed out the connection between\u2064 Samidoun and the PFLP. Samidoun co-founder Khaled Barakat has been referred to as one of the PFLP&#8217;s &#8220;leaders,&#8221; according to the letter. \u200dAdditionally, Mohammad \u2063Khatib, a Europe Samidoun coordinator, has allegedly been identified as a PFLP \u200dleader \u200bin Palestinian media outlets. Mustapha\u200d Awad, Samidoun&#8217;s Europe representative, \u2064was imprisoned in Israel after receiving military \u2063training\u2064 from\u2062 Hezbollah in Lebanon, as stated in the letter.<\/p>\n<p>The letter further emphasized that donations \u200dmade to Samidoun through the\u200c Alliance for Global Justice&#8217;s platform have potentially provided support to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/actblue-facilitating-donations-to-terror-tied-charity-legal-group-says\/\" title=\"ActBlue Facilitating Donations to Terror-Tied Charity, Legal Group Says\">designated terror organizations<\/a> and specific terrorist activities worldwide. This would mean that the Alliance for Global Justice, \u2063as Samidoun&#8217;s\u2064 fiscal \u2062sponsor,\u200d is potentially providing material support to \u200dterrorism, which violates federal laws and the \u2063criminal and civil provisions of the United States&#8217; Anti-Terrorism Act.<\/p>\n<p>Efforts to Block Samidoun \u2062and AfGJ from Using Payment Processors<\/p>\n<p>The letter also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/boston-plans-35-acre-island-facility-to-combat-homelessness-and-addiction\/\" title=\"Boston to build 35-acre island facility to address homelessness and addiction.\">cited previous instances<\/a> where payment processors such as Discover and PayPal blocked Samidoun \u2063and the Alliance for Global Justice from using their services due to concerns over their ties to terror. Stripe&#8217;s \u2063terms and conditions state that\u200c the company does not work with entities\u200d that\u2062 engage in or promote unlawful violence or harm to individuals or property, or with groups based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, \u200dor any other immutable characteristic.<\/p>\n<p>In \u200baddition to the Zachor Legal Institute and NGO Monitor, the request letter \u200bwas signed by the American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists, Belgian Friends of Israel, B&#8217;nai Brith Canada,\u2064 Centre for Israel \u2062and\u2064 Jewish Affairs in Canada, the U.S. Lawfare Project, Med Israel for Fred in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Iceland, as well as \u2064the United \u200bKingdom&#8217;s National Jewish Assembly and StandWithUs.<\/p>\n<p>The Washington Examiner also reported that the Alliance for \u200cGlobal Justice, which describes itself as an &#8220;anti-capitalist&#8221; and &#8220;progressive&#8221; charity, has appeared to \u200dsponsor the Boycott, Divestment, \u200cand Sanctions against Israel coalition. This sponsorship came after Salsa Labs\u2062 severed ties \u2063with the alliance, preventing the BDS coalition from \u200bfundraising.
