[VIDEO]\">school board<\/a> meeting<\/a>, where she voiced her concerns \u200cover LGBT curriculum for kids.<\/p>\n<p>Janet\u2062 Roberson, \u2064though, is\u2063 not deterred from speaking out, \u2063and says she\u2019d do it all over again.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI would do it again,\u201d Roberson told \u200bThe Daily Wire. \u201cFor me to lose\u2062 a job is horrible \u200dand not okay,\u200c but\u2062 I would be willing \u200bto do it again. Absolutely. To\u2064 speak the\u2064 truth \u200band to stand for freedom and for what our Constitution stands for \u2014\u200d 100%.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Roberson \u2062was let go \u2064from her position as an independent contractor with Compass, a large\u200c real estate company based in\u200b New York. She\u200d was dismissed from the company \u2064by phone only 11 days after \u2063she\u2064 spoke out \u2063at a Benicia Unified School District <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-president-trumps-executive-order-from-yesterday-directly-impacts-the-bidens-investments-in-china\/\" title=\"EXCLUSIVE: President Trump\u2019s Executive Order from Yesterday Directly Impacts the Bidens\u2019 Investments in China\">board meeting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChildren are \u200basked to identify their pronouns; and this is now part of the 10-year-old curriculum,\u201d Roberson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2CkC_Hr1rkU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> the school board on \u2062April 20.\u2064 \u201cWe are \u200calarmed that gender identity is being discussed in <i>math \u200dclasses<\/i>. This takes time from core learning and does \u2062not\u2064 benefit \u2062the students\u200d or our community. Teaching \u200bkids \u2062that there isn\u2019t any standard or truth and you can believe anything you want\u200b to believe is not scientifically\u200c accurate or medically correct. For example, the notion\u2062 that a girl can decide to be\u2064 a boy, or a boy can \u2062decide to\u200c be a \u2062girl, \u2064is not true\u2062 and should not be taught.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Soon after voicing her \u2064concerns, she was \u200bmet with backlash from local activists. Two \u2064local papers published letters complaining about her \u2064comments at the\u2064 board meeting. In the Vallejo Times-Herald, \u2062for example, a former City Council candidate named Billy Innes identifies Roberson as a \u201cCompass Real Estate agent\u201d \u2062multiple times \u2014 an emphasis Roberson believes \u2063was\u2064 made in an attempt to get her fired \u2014 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesheraldonline.com\/2023\/04\/27\/billy-innes-tomorrow-belongs-to\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">claims<\/span><\/a>  the mother delivered a \u201clengthy, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/id-do-it-again-mom-fired-from-her-job-after-speaking-at-school-board-meeting-remains-undeterred\/\" title=\"Mom fired for speaking at school board meeting remains determined.\">bigoted\u2062 diatribe denouncing\u201d\u200c \u201cgender-inclusionary language<\/a>.\u201d He also claims Roberson promotes racism, transphobia, \u201canti-COVID \u200csafety,\u201d \u2063and \u201ccontent\u200d that\u200c favors\u2062 Eugenics\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beniciafreedom.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on her website<\/a>. Roberson denies all these claims\u2063 and \u200cdescribed them as horrifying.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2063 was also a letter written to Compass \u200cfrom a woman named Nathalie Christian, the treasurer of\u2063 the Progressive\u200c Democrats of Benicia\u2064 and self-described story development coordinator for The Benicia \u2063Independent, an openly left-wing \u200dblog.<\/p>\n<p>In the letter, Christian tells Compass that\u2062 Roberson has\u2063 an \u201canti-equity, anti-trans, anti-Black, and\u200d anti-choice\u201d \u201cagenda\u201d and suggests the mother be fired or punished by the company. The letter also asks about \u2062Compass\u2019 DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion)\u2063 practices and how \u2063Compass \u201cdisciplines\u201d agents who are \u201copenly engaging in divisive, hateful, harassing,\u200b or abusive rhetoric in their\u2062 personal lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\">CLICK HERE \u200cTO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Further, the Progressive Democrats \u200bof Benicia\u200b member gives the company\u2062 a deadline\u2062 of 9 a.m. on\u200d May 1 for a response,\u200c lest the Benicia Independent move\u2064 forward with its \u200dpost on Roberson. Notably, Christian writes that the \u2062post \u201cwill reach between 1,300 \u2063and 1,500\u2063 people\u200b and will reference that Ms. Roberson is currently employed by Compass.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roberson reportedly \u200dreceived a call on\u200b May \u20631 to let her \u2062know Compass was cutting ties with her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2062 just randomly got\u2062 a call on May 1 \u2014 which was the deadline date that the treasurer of the Progressive Democrats had given \u2014 from the regional corporate director,\u201d Roberson said. \u201cHe said, \u2018Well, \u200bJanet, \u200cI\u2019m calling to say you can no longer do business\u200c as a Compass agent.\u2019\u2063 And I was \u2014 my heart just dropped. \u200cI was absolutely\u2062 devastated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said, my\u200d performance \u2063is great, my sales have \u200bbeen stellar, I\u2019m an \u200cearner,\u200c I\u2019m working so hard and I\u2019m making\u2062 money for the\u200d company,\u201d \u2064she recalled telling the director. \u201cAnd he said, this\u200c has \u200cnothing to do with business. And \u200dthat really shocked me, and I said, \u200d\u2018Well, that \u200csays all you need to say right there. If you\u2019re saying this has nothing\u2062 to do with business,\u200b what does this have to do with?\u2019 \u200bAnd he said \u2014\u2063 I\u200d don\u2019t remember his exact words, but\u2063 words \u2062to the effect of, well, the \u2062past week has been a \u200clot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compass\u2063 has received backlash over the company\u2019s apparent removal of Roberson for speaking at a \u2062school board meeting, and\u200d in a post on \u200dX, the company said the \u201cdecision to disassociate [Roberson\u2019s] license was\u2063 made\u200d at \u2063the request of her team\u2019s owner.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A mother of three faced backlash from local activists and lost her job for speaking against LGBT curriculum at a California school board meeting.
