This move comes as Lake \u2064fights back against\u200d allegations made by Richer in June, accusing her\u200d of falsely claiming that he\u200c intentionally sabotaged the county&#8217;s election.<\/p>\n<p>During the November election in Maricopa \u2062County, \u2062printers malfunctioned at nearly 60 percent of polling locations, causing tabulators to be unable to \u200dread ballots. This led\u200c to long lines and chaos, with Republicans arguing that they were disproportionately affected.\u2062 However, in December, a trial judge upheld Democrat Katie Hobbs&#8217; win, \u200dstating that there was\u2062 no evidence of intentional sabotage \u200dby the \u200ccounty.<\/p>\n<p>While the \u2064ruling was mostly upheld by the Arizona Supreme Court, one issue regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kari-lake-files-motion-to-dismiss-maricopa-county-officials-suit-against-her\/\" title=\"Kari Lake seeks dismissal of lawsuit by Maricopa County official.\">signature\u2062 verification laws<\/a> was remanded back to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-yanks-trump-backed-hispanic-nominee-to-federal-appeals-court\/\" title=\"Biden Yanks Trump-Backed Hispanic Nominee to Federal Appeals Court\">trial court<\/a>. \u200cLake has appealed the ruling, continuing to challenge the election results.<\/p>\n<p>In response to \u200cRicher&#8217;s lawsuit, Lake&#8217;s motion\u200d to dismiss emphasizes the importance of free speech in matters of public\u200d concern.
