No question in \u200bmy mind.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Good to see someone has a backbone.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am confident that\u2063 when the law\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/7IPLzDqFFm\">pic.twitter.com\/7IPLzDqFFm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Collin\u200c Rugg (@CollinRugg) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CollinRugg\/status\/1694061797710643641?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 22,\u200b 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script type=\"text\/plain\" data-service=\"twitter\" data-category=\"marketing\" async data-cmplz-src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Alongside Eastman, eighteen other defendants who were charged began turning themselves in as \u200dwell. <\/p>\n<p>On his way out of Fulton County Jail, Eastman spoke to reporters, saying that he plans to \u201cvigorously \u2063contest every count of the indictment.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI am confident that when\u2062 the law is faithfully applied \u200cin this\u2064 proceeding, all of my\u200b co-defendants\u200d and I will be fully vindicated,\u201d Eastman said outside of the\u200d jail. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Eastman\u2019s\u200b decision follows after news broke out \u200bthat the \u200b45<sup>th<\/sup> President and 18 others were charged\u200b last week for their alleged involvement to overturn the 2020 election\u2062 results in Georgia. <\/p>\n<p>However, Trump has continued \u2063to emphasize that his actions were not illegal and that the indictment against him is undoubtedly politically-motivated. <\/p>\n<p>Eastman\u2064 has been charged with nine\u2064 counts, which includes two counts of conspiracy to commit forgery in\u200c the first degree.\u00a0The\u2063 attorney \u200dis also accused of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/attorney-john-eastman-surrenders-on-charges-in-trumps-georgia-2020-election-case\/\" title=\"John Eastman, attorney, surrenders on charges in Trump's Georgia election case.\">allegedly soliciting public \u200bofficers<\/a> to unlawfully appoint Georgia presidential electors.<\/p>\n<p>After being questioned by reporters \u200bif the 2020 presidential election was stolen, he responded, saying: \u201cAbsolutely, no question.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eastman\u2019s\u200d bond\u2062 was set on Monday for $100,000. <\/p>\n<p>Trump and other defendants who have \u200dnot turned themselves in reportedly have until Friday to voluntarily surrender to law enforcement in Atlanta, Georgia. <\/p>\n<p>The former president \u200bis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/newsroom\/dershowitz-the-4th-trump-indictment-is-very-very-dangerous\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/newsroom\/dershowitz-the-4th-trump-indictment-is-very-very-dangerous\/\">facing 13 counts<\/a> in his fourth\u200c indictment, which includes three counts of solicitation of violation \u200cof oath by a public officer. <\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
