Ukraine Declares Spoils of War from Russia Tax-Free\">social media purporting<\/a> to show an email that\u200b lingering DVD delivery customers were receiving.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The \u2064email said: \u201cAfter 25 years of movies in the mail, \u2064we\u2019re \u2063approaching the end of our \u200bfinal\u200b season. We really appreciate that you\u2019re sharing movie nights with us until the last day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s have some fun for our finale!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2062 \u201cfun\u201d appears to be coming in the form of\u200d a\u200c mystery stack of \u200bone to\u2063 10 DVDs, composed of movies on subscribers\u2019 queues \u200band watchlists. The company will randomly select the titles and ship them off to a lucky \u2064few who have entered for a chance to participate.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Netflix\u2019s DVD \u2064delivery service\u2019s X, formerly known as Twitter, \u2063account responded to one of these\u200b images, seemingly \u200dconfirming its veracity and\u2063 informing \u2064customers to get signed up before Aug. 29 to\u2062 qualify for up to\u200c 10 free mystery DVDs.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">In case\u2063 anyone reading this isn\u2019t opted\u200c into the marketing emails and wants\u200c a \u200cshot at getting 1-10 extra discs on the last day\u2026 here\u2019s the \u200blink! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/L9l0pomFky\">https:\/\/t.co\/L9l0pomFky<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 DVD Netflix (@dvdnetflix) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dvdnetflix\/status\/1692240971659108448?\">August 17, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>You \u2062can sign up for this \u200bpromotion \u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/dvd.netflix.com\/SignIn?nextPage=\/FinaleSurprise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>,\u200d but there is one curious twist involved: You still\u200d have to return those movies after 30 days.<\/p>\n<p>Despite DVD.com\u2019s pending erasure, any and \u200dall movies \u2064received as part of this promotion have to be returned by Oct. 29, per Insider.<\/p>\n<p>So yes, instead of sending a parting gift to its most loyal customers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/netflixs-black-cleopatra-show-unprecedented-failure-low-scores-break-records-top-review-site\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Netflix<\/a> appears to be just operating business as usual through DVD.com\u2019s expiration date.
