But he&#8217;s got a solution for fellow\u2063 musicians facing the same issue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/john-rich-mocks-culture-critics-says-nobody-can-take-a-joke-anymore\">interview<\/a> with Fox News Digital, Rich shared, \u201cYes, I\u2019ve had\u2062 some of that stuff thrown at me. More jobs than I can count. Now, I started out with the band Lonestar back in the \u201990s,\u200b so I\u2019ve\u2064 dodged beer bottles; I<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/not-a-new-thing-john-rich-offers-advice-for-musicians-having-objects-thrown-at-them-onstage\/\" title=\"John Rich advises musicians on how to handle objects thrown at them onstage.\">\u2019ve dodged solo\u2064 cups<\/a>; I\u2019ve dodged boots\u2026 I\u2019ve \u200cseen\u2062 guys pull the\u2063 boots off and \u200dthrow \u2019em at ya. So now that\u2019s not a new \u2063thing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To prevent any injuries, Rich has\u200c a clever \u200bsuggestion: \u200duse fencing to\u200b create a\u2063 barrier between the\u2063 performer and the audience. Recently, there have been numerous incidents of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/drake-is-latest-artist-to-get-struck-by-flying-object-during-performance\/\" title=\"Drake hit by flying object during performance.\">fans throwing objects<\/a> at musicians, with one\u200c star even\u200c <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/bebe-rexha-shares-photo-with-fans-after-being-hit-in-face-by-cell-phone-at-concert\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">requiring stitches<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  after being hit \u2063in the face with a cell phone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWe used to have bars back in\u2064 Texas. We call \u2062them chicken \u2062wire bars where\u200d they would actually put a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/parents-should-never-let-children-have-unsupervised-internet-access-period-and-that-means-no-cell-phone\/\" title=\"Parents Should Never Let Children Have Unsupervised Internet Access, Period \u2014 And That Means No Cell Phone\">chicken wire<\/a> fence in front \u2062of the stage in case somebody threw something,\u201d explained the Nashville-based <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/country-music\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">vocalist<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rich even \u200dincorporated this idea into \u200bthe \u2064music video for his new \u200bsong, \u2018I\u2019m Offended.\u2019 \u200cIn the video, he \u2064performs on the Redneck Riviera stage with\u2062 a\u200c chicken wire fence protecting him from flying objects. \u201cAnd of \u2063course, everybody\u2019s offended, right? So you better have some chicken wire. And\u2063 they\u2019re throwing beer bottles and stuff\u2019s smashing everywhere. So yeah, that\u2019s not a new thing,\u201d \u2063he shared.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While\u2062 promoting \u200chis first \u2063single, \u2062\u201cI\u2019m Offended,\u201d from his\u2063 latest album, \u201cThe Country Truth,\u201d Rich explained that the song is meant to \u2064be a lighthearted and humorous take on the current state of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI\u200d look around \u2063our country and I don\u2019t see anything funny going on at all. It doesn\u2019t matter where\u200b you look. It\u2019s just more bad\u2062 news and more bad\u200c news,\u201d Rich expressed. \u201cSo I thought, you know what America needs right now? They need something funny. They need something to come out \u2063that they can \u200dlaugh with and \u2064put a grin on \u200dtheir face. So I was kind of looking at\u2063 our culture these \u2064days, and I\u2019m guilty of it, too, \u2062that everybody\u2019s offended at something all the time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter if you\u2019re\u200b Right, Left or in the middle. Everything\u2019s offensive all the time. I mean, nobody can \u200btake a joke anymore,\u201d he added. \u201cSo I \u2064wrote this song that says, \u2018I\u2019m offended\u2063 that you\u2019re offended.\u2062 Let\u2019s all get offended tonight.
