While Rudolph\u2019s dental empire was in Pennsylvania, he was living in Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>Rudolph was sentenced to life in prison \u2062for killing \u200ca U.S. national in a\u2062 foreign country and\u200c a concurrent 20-year\u200c sentence for the mail fraud conviction. He will also be\u200d required to pay\u200c nearly $5 \u200cmillion in restitution and an additional \u200c$2 million in fines. He must \u200calso forfeit two homes,\u200d his cars, including an \u2064Aston Martin DB-11 and Bentley Bentayga, and any other assets \u2063he bought \u2062with the insurance money, the \u200dPost reported. According to the defense, those\u200b assets totaled almost $9 million.<\/p>\n<p>Rudolph maintains his innocence.<\/p>\n<p>On October \u206411, 2016, \u2064Rudolph and Bianca were packing to \u200creturn \u200chome from a\u200d big-game \u200chunting trip in\u2063 Zambia, The Daily Beast <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/millionaire-denver-dentist-larry-rudolph-guilty-of-killing-wife-bianca-rudolph-on-zambia-vacation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>. Rudolph testified at trial that he was in the bathroom\u200d when he heard \u2063his wife say, \u201cCome here and help me.\u201d \u2064Shortly after, he \u2062said he heard a gunshot and \u200bfound his wife lying in a pool of blood. He claimed that the scene looked as though \u2064Bianca accidentally killed herself with a shotgun while packing it, with the bullet going through the gun case and landing\u200d in her chest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did not\u2064 murder my \u2063wife. I could not murder my wife. I \u2063would not murder my wife,\u201d he said at his trial, according to The Daily Beast.<\/p>\n<p>With his testimony deemed valid by the initial investigators,\u2063 the\u2064 Zambian government, and \u2064the insurance investigators at the time of\u200d the shooting, Rudolph \u2064was able to collect a \u2063$4.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/millionaire-dentist-convicted-of-killing-his-wife-during-african-safari\/\" title=\"Millionaire Dentist Convicted Of Killing His Wife During African Safari\">8 million life insurance policy<\/a> on his wife.<\/p>\n<p>To Bianca\u2019s family \u200dand friends, however, Rudolph\u2019s story\u2063 and subsequent behavior seemed questionable. For example, one of Bianca\u2019s friends found\u2062 it \u200bpeculiar that Rudolph had his wife\u2019s body cremated so quickly after her \u200ddeath while still in Zambia, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/larry-rudolph-found-guilty-in-wifes-death-on-2016-african-safari\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to<\/a> CBS\u2019 \u201c48 Hours.\u201d This\u2064 same friend called\u200b the FBI to express her concerns\u2064 about\u2062 Rudolph, telling the agency that\u200b Rudolph had had an affair and was verbally\u200b abusive toward his \u200dwife. In addition, this friend told the FBI that the couple fought about money.<\/p>\n<p>After Bianca\u2019s death, family members said that Rudolph \u200cdidn\u2019t grieve; instead, he \u200bbooked a \u2064trip to Las Vegas shortly after Bianca\u2019s burial and filed the insurance claim one day \u200cbefore her funeral. He also regularly went \u200dout with\u200c Lori \u200cMilliron, the manager of his \u200bdental franchise \u200din \u200bPittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with whom he had an affair while Bianca was\u2062 still alive.<\/p>\n<p>Another witness also told the\u200b FBI that they overheard Rudolph tell Milliron at a restaurant in \u200bPhoenix, Arizona, that \u201cI f***ing\u200d killed \u2064my wife for\u2062 you\u201d during an argument. \u2064At trial,\u2062 Rudolph claimed the \u2063person misheard and that \u2064he actually told Milliron: \u201cThe FBI think I f***ing killed my wife for \u200dyou.\u201d The couple were reportedly in\u2064 Phoenix because they had\u200c bought a house together near Paradise\u200d Valley.<\/p>\n<div class=\"margin_bottom_25\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_block\" dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_section\"><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><\/b><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Rudolph also said in his testimony \u2062that he and his \u200cwife agreed in 2000 to have sex with other people and that Bianca knew about Milliron. He\u200b claimed the couple\u2064 were\u200d \u201crelatively happy\u201d thanks to their \u200bopen marriage.<\/p>\n<p>At trial,\u2064 prosecutors presented \u2063evidence that\u2062 Rudolph provided \u2064cash payments to Milliron\u2064 when Bianca was still\u200c alive, and\u2062 that he gave Milliron a credit card \u200clinked to his own account after Bianca died, The Beast reported. Prosecutors also provided\u2064 evidence showing the shotgun barrel was too\u2063 long for Bianca\u2064 to have reached \u2064the trigger and that the shot must have come from two- to three-and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/radioactive-capsule-discovered-in-australia-after-search\/\" title=\"Radioactive Capsule Discovered In Australia After Search\">-a-half feet<\/a> away.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors alleged that after\u200c Bianca asked for more control over the couple\u2019s finances and demanded that Rudolph fire Milliron, Rudolph killed his wife because \u2064he didn\u2019t \u2062want to split his $15 million net worth\u200c with Bianca in a\u200c divorce.<\/p>\n<p>Milliron was also found guilty by the same jury that convicted \u2062Rudolph.\u200c She was charged with\u200b accessory \u2062after the fact to murder, obstruction of a grand\u2063 jury, and two counts of\u200b perjury before a grand jury.
