IBM will retain\u2064 its \u2064sustainability software business.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Big Blue said Tuesday it plans to continue using The Weather Company\u2019s\u200d weather data for its software offerings focused on environmental insights. <\/p>\n<p>The so-called Environmental Intelligence Suite uses a NASA-powered model and is \u2063offered as part of Watsonx, IBM\u2019s artificial intelligence (AI) and data platform.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the last\u200d few years, we\u2019ve evolved IBM to be a \u200bhybrid cloud and AI company.\u200c We regularly review our \u2063portfolio to make sure \u200cour business areas are core to \u200cthat strategy,\u201d said Rob Thomas, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/senate-confirms-kathleen-hicks-as-deputy-defense-secretary\/\" title=\"Senate Confirms Kathleen Hicks as Deputy Defense Secretary\">senior vice president<\/a> for software.<\/p>\n<p>IBM declined\u200b to give more details \u2063on the \u2064sale.
