Ryan Christian \u200cKnauss. His\u2063 mother, Paula Knauss Selph, had the opportunity to\u200b meet \u2062President \u200bBiden during an event for Gold Star families at the White House\u2062 in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u2063 a U.K. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12422089\/Afghanistan-Gold-Star-mom-says-President-Biden-asked-photo-op-wept-Oval-Office-heartbreaking-loss-son-killed-Kabul-bombing-two-years-ago.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daily Mail<\/a> report\u2063 on Monday, during a Memorial\u2064 Day event at the White House last year, Paula Selph \u2063had a meeting with \u2064the president in\u2062 the Oval Office.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I can&#8217;t do that because\u200c Secret Service won&#8217;t let me do that.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Paula \u200dSelph\u2063 was \u200choping for some sympathy,\u200b accountability, \u200band closure from\u2063 the president.\u200c However, \u200dBiden \u2064showed no compassion whatsoever.<\/p>\n<p>As Selph\u200b tearfully reflected on the\u2062 loss of her son, Biden \u2063made no \u2062effort to comfort her. Instead, \u200che callously asked if she wanted a photo with him.<\/p>\n<p>In response, the <a title=\"Gold Star Mom shares Biden's callous remark during emotional Oval Office meeting.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gold-star-mom-reveals-bidens-heartless-comment-as-she-wept-during-oval-office-meeting\/\">distraught mother expressed<\/a> that she would only want a picture if\u200d it was \u2064of the president standing next \u2064to \u2062her son&#8217;s tombstone at Arlington National Cemetery.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I can&#8217;t\u200d do that \u200cbecause Secret Service \u200bwon&#8217;t let me\u2063 do that.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For Selph,\u2063 this encounter was a &#8220;moral disgrace.&#8221; She expected the president to show \u2063sympathy and mercy\u2062 to the families \u2062of the soldiers under his \u2064command, especially since she \u200bheld him accountable for the tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>It is understandable why Selph \u2063is angry about this meeting. The purpose of her visit \u200dwas to honor her son&#8217;s sacrifice and find closure. However, \u200dBiden turned it\u200d into a photo opportunity,\u2064 seemingly oblivious to the mother&#8217;s intentions.<\/p>\n<p>This incident\u200d appears to be part of \u2062a pattern with Joe Biden. Since the Afghanistan withdrawal, he \u2062has displayed a similar indifference towards other Gold Star families.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, he spoke to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gold-star-mom-shares-joe-jill-biden-make-angry-physically-shook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cherry\u2063 Rex,<\/a> the \u200dmother of Lance Cpl. Dylan Merola,\u200c who also lost his life in the bombing. During the ceremony for the transfer of Merola&#8217;s remains in Delaware, \u200bBiden compared her loss to the loss of\u2064 his own son, Beau, who died from \u200ccancer.<\/p>\n<p>Rex found herself shaking with anger at the thought that Biden\u200d would use\u200b the occasion to seek sympathy for himself, instead\u2063 of focusing on the family who had\u2064 just \u2064lost their son.<\/p>\n<p>However, beyond the indifference shown to the families of \u200cthe fallen, it \u2064is crucial to remember that Biden bears responsibility for the events in Afghanistan and \u2063must be held accountable.<\/p>\n<p>His failure to ensure \u2062the safety \u200bof Americans and\u200b the\u200d abandonment \u2063of <a title=\"State Department Greenlights Proposed Billion-Dollar Arms Sale to Nigeria\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/state-department-greenlights-proposed-billion-dollar-arms-sale-to-nigeria\/\">valuable military equipment<\/a> \u2064in the country constitute\u2062 a dereliction of duty, which could be\u2063 grounds for impeachment.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans\u2063 in Congress \u2062have the\u200b opportunity to call these\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gold-star-mom-unleashes-biden-ignoring-sons-death-watch-blood-hands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gold Star families<\/a> to testify about\u200d how the president failed to protect Americans and displayed complete indifference towards them and \u200dtheir suffering.<\/p>\n<p>Biden failed to fulfill\u200b his responsibilities, resulting in\u2064 the deaths\u2062 of 13 Americans.
