One of the donors is Brave Books, a Christian-based book publisher. This news,\u200b however, has sparked controversy\u200c among activists\u2063 who believe the school board \u2062should\u200c focus more on promoting \u2063LGBT content in school libraries.<\/p>\n<h3>Creating Controversy\u200d with Wholesome Books<\/h3>\n<p>When asked about the uproar, Spotsylvania County Superintendent Mark Taylor expressed his lack\u200c of surprise, given the current state of the world. On the other hand, Brave Books CEO Trent Talbott couldn&#8217;t help but laugh during a radio interview, admitting\u200c that he enjoys creating &#8220;controversy&#8221;\u2064 by\u2063 publishing wholesome books. These books will soon find their way into \u2063Spotsylvania school libraries following the recent vote.<\/p>\n<h3>Donated Books and the\u2063 Debate Over Content<\/h3>\n<p>The Virginia school board has \u2063accepted a range of book donations for school libraries, including the \u200dentire \u2063collection from Brave Books. Some of the titles donated by this Christian publisher are &#8220;Little Lives Matter&#8221; and &#8220;Elephants Are Not Birds.&#8221; The decision to include these \u200dbooks stemmed from a months-long debate within the school board regarding age-appropriate content in libraries.<\/p>\n<p>Talbott explained that \u2062frustrated parents were the \u200cdriving \u200cforce behind \u2062this move, as they were concerned about the content available to their children. Superintendent Taylor emphasized that the school district\u2064 aims to adhere to Virginia law regarding \u2064&#8221;moral instruction&#8221; and \u2064provide students with more positive content.<\/p>\n<h3>Advocating for Values-Based Books<\/h3>\n<p>Talbott expressed his confusion over why some adults are\u2062 advocating for pornographic and inappropriate materials in school libraries. He is thrilled that Spotsylvania is adding his values-based books to their libraries, as he believes that both adults and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/virginia-school-district-not-surprised-by-controversy-over-accepting-anti-woke-books-in-school-libraries\/\" title=\"Virginia school district unfazed by 'controversy' over inclusion of anti-'woke' books in libraries.\">children find \u200bgraphic books disturbing<\/a> by nature.<\/p>\n<p>Superintendent Taylor hopes that other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/calif-gov-newsom-announces-2b-plan-to-reopen-schools-by-spring\/\" title=\"Calif. Gov.
