With hundreds of people looking on, he produced a \u2063Koran and began ripping out\u2062 the pages. He wiped a few \u200cof these pages on his shoe.\u2064 Then,\u200c the man set the Koran on \u200cfire.<\/p>\n<p>Five \u2064thousand miles away, at the \u200dU.S. State \u200bDepartment, Joe Biden\u2019s diplomats sprang into \u200caction. Within hours, the State Department issued the strongest possible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/us-state-dept-says-it-condemns-burning-koran-sweden-2023-06-29\/#:~:text=WASHINGTON%2C%20June%2029%20(Reuters),an%20endorsement%20of%20the%20action.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">condemnation<\/a> \u200dof the Koran burning. \u200d\u201cI will say that we do condemn it,\u201d said\u200d a State Department spokesman. \u200bThe spokesman added that the demonstration had created \u201can \u2062environment of fear\u201d \u2062that \u201cwill impact the ability of Muslims and members of other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pope-francis-visits-iraq-encourages-minority-christian-population\/\" title=\"Pope Francis Visits Iraq, Encourages Minority Christian Population\">religious minority groups<\/a> from freely exercising their\u2063 right \u2064to freedom of \u200creligion \u2064or belief \u200cin Sweden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Whatever you \u2063think of that\u2063 response, you have to\u2062 admit it\u2019s a bit surprising. It was just two years ago\u200d that \u2062criminals torched, \u200dvandalized, and looted more than \u206280 churches\u2062 across \u2063Canada. Unlike\u200b Sweden, Canada sits directly on the border of\u200b the United States. \u2062Some churches that went up in flames are \u200ba ten-minute drive from major population \u2062centers in this country. \u2063And yet,\u200c as the churches were razed, \u2062Joe Biden\u2019s State Department didn\u2019t say a word. \u200dOne Koran\u2062 burning in Sweden gets \u200btheir attention. The destruction of \u200bdozens of\u200b churches a\u200c few miles north of the U.S. border? They can\u2019t be bothered.<\/p>\n<p>Neither could Canada\u2019s prime minister, Justin Trudeau.\u200d As his country \u200dwitnessed a historic campaign of anti-Christian terrorism two years ago\u2062 \u2014 a campaign that, somehow, led\u2063 to just one arrest \u2014 \u2064Trudeau said the \u2063violence was\u2064 unacceptable but also \u201cunderstandable.\u201d Watch:<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s \u201cunderstandable,\u201d Justin\u200d Trudeau says, as\u200d thugs torch \u200bChristian churches. He\u2063 ignores the attack on Christianity in his country, just as politicians\u2063 in the United States ignored the deadly mass shooting by a trans terrorist \u200cat a Christian \u2063school in Nashville earlier this year. And just\u2062 as they ignored the campaign of terrorism directed against\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/canadas-mass-graves-hoax-is-yet-another-fabricated-narrative-to-demonize-christians\/\" title=\"Canada's 'mass graves' hoax is another false narrative to vilify Christians.\">pro-life\u2063 pregnancy\u2063 centers<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>In all \u200cof these cases,\u2063 elected officials didn\u2019t simply excuse violence against Christians. Instead, for years,\u2063 with the help of corporate media, \u2062these officials \u200dengineered hoaxes for the purpose of demonizing Christians. \u2062The point of these hoaxes was to create\u200c a pretext for the violence that inevitably followed. In the \u2063U.S., the hoax took\u2062 the form of disingenuous warnings \u200babout \u201ctrans genocide\u201d and\u200c an entirely fictional epidemic of anti-trans \u2062murders \u2014 murders that turn out, in nearly every case, to be\u200c related to domestic disputes,\u2063 drugs or prostitution and \u2063had nothing to do with the \u2062fact that the victim identified as trans.<\/p>\n<p>In Canada, the \u200dhoax that \u200dprompted\u200b the church burnings\u2064 began \u200cin earnest in May 2021, when Canadian\u2063 media \u200creported that\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/first-colonial-site-in-maryland-discovered-after-90-year-search\/\" title=\"First Colonial Site In Maryland Discovered After 90-Year Search\">ground-penetrating radar<\/a> had found the\u200c unmarked graves of more than 200 children near\u2064 an \u200dIndian Residential School in Kamloops, \u2064which is located in British Columbia.\u200d Many of the media reports and\u200d social media posts \u2063referred to these alleged sites as \u201cmass graves.\u201d The Canadian government had established these residential \u200cschools in the 19th century to \u2062assimilate native Canadian children into Canadian culture. They were mainly\u2062 operated \u200band funded by the Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, Methodist and Anglican churches.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1209-canada-s-mass-graves-hoax-is-yet-another-fabricated-narrative-to-demonize-christians-member-exclusive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Leftists in Canada\u2063 have long \u2064maintained that these schools mistreated children. That\u2019s \u200cbeen conventional wisdom\u2062 for some time in Canada; it\u2019s one \u2064of\u200b the reasons Canadian activists\u2062 now argue that Canada\u2062 should strip Catholic schools \u2063of \u2062all federal \u2062funding. These supposed \u201cmass graves\u201d were the confirmation that \u200cthey needed. The evidence to support the narrative\u2064 they already believed. <\/p>\n<p>Now,\u2062 to be\u2064 clear, it\u2019s long been suspected that children did die of diseases like tuberculosis and\u200d influenza at these schools. It\u2019s\u2063 also true that, in that time period, countless\u2064 children of all races and\u2062 ethnicities across the\u2062 world died of these diseases. But the \u2063discovery of \u2063supposed \u201cmass\u200c graves\u201d\u200d at one \u2063of these schools, to the media and the Canadian government,\u2062 meant something very different. The finding, they suggested, meant\u200d that Christians\u2062 had \u200csystematically murdered\u2064 children at these \u2062schools and \u200dthen covered up the \u2063evidence. <\/p>\n<p>The \u200cToronto Star\u200c reported, \u201cThe Remains of\u2063 215\u2064 Children \u2064Have \u2064Been Found.\u201d The AP\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americamagazine.org\/politics-society\/2021\/06\/24\/bodies-found-indigenous-school-canada-240926\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>,\u2063 \u201cOver \u200b600 bodies found at another Catholic school for Indigenous children\u200d in Canada.\u201d U.S. News and many\u200b other outlets \u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/news\/best-countries\/articles\/2021-06-04\/canada-recognizes-genocide-except-against-its-own-indigenous-peoples\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">called<\/a> it confirmation of \u2062\u201cgenocide.\u201d Within days, \u2063there were reports that \u2062ground-penetrating radar had found\u200c unmarked graves at residential school sites all over Canada. Here\u2019s a Bloomberg report on an additional discovery:<\/p>\n<p>There were dozens of reports like this, all throughout the summer of 2021. This \u200dwas the reporting from the entire news media \u2063in the United States and Canada. \u2062In response, Justin Trudeau knelt at one of the supposed grave sites and pretended to cry. Canada Day celebrations were canceled. \u200bThe government pledged hundreds of millions of dollars to investigate. \u2064There were mass protests. Statutes were topped. \u200b <\/p>\n<p>One outlet that says it \u201cserves\u201d indigenous \u2064communities, APTN News, reported that \u201cDemonstrators \u2064toppled statues of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth \u2063in Winnipeg during rallies honouring the children discovered\u200c in unmarked \u2064graves on the \u200csites of former residential \u2063schools \u200bover\u2064 the\u2062 past month.\u201d Here\u2019s what that looked \u200dlike:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Demonstrators toppled statues of Queen Victoria and Queen\u2064 Elizabeth in Winnipeg this afternoon during rallies honouring the children\u200c discovered in unmarked graves on the sites of former residential schools over the past month. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Zx0aqPGcOW\">pic.twitter.com\/Zx0aqPGcOW<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 \u2062APTN News (@APTNNews)\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/APTNNews\/status\/1410753619431919618?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 2, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In\u2063 the\u2062 eyes of \u2062these\u200c rioters, Queen Elizabeth represents colonialism, and colonialism means \u200ctaking advantage of the natives, not helping them. This anti-colonialist narrative is absurdly simplistic, and ignores the actual facts \u200cof \u200chistory. So\u2062 naturally they want to destroy all \u200bremnants\u2063 of\u200b that history, starting with the statues. This was the mainstream position on the \u2063Canadian Left. Harsha Walia, the executive director of the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association\u200d \u2014\u2064 Canada\u2019s version of the ACLU \u2014 encouraged\u2062 the vandals. She declared, \u2064\u201cBurn \u200bit all down.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Two years later, the lies\u200c that\u200d these barbarians have been telling have completely fallen apart. No mass graves have\u2064 been found at these supposed \u201cunmarked grave sites\u201d that have\u2063 been allegedly uncovered with ground-penetrating radar. No bodies, no remains have been\u2062 unearthed. None at all. It was all a hoax. <\/p>\n<p>The alleged \u2062gravesite in Kamloops, it turns out, was the site of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dorchesterreview.ca\/blogs\/news\/the-kamloops-discovery-a-fact-check-two-years-later\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">septic field,<\/a> which was used to dispose\u200d of the school\u2019s\u200c sewage. The school dug a massive line\u2064 of trenches three-feet deep for this\u200b purpose,\u2063 but the \u201cresearchers\u201d who\u200b scanned the site with ground-penetrating radar \u200bsomehow weren\u2019t aware of that. How \u200dcould they miss that little detail? How\u2064 could they fail to consider other potential reasons why\u200d a \u2064school might dig trenches? How was a \u201cmass grave\u201d the very first and only \u200cassumption?\u2062 Remember \u200dthat the radar never detected \u200bbodies. \u2062It detected \u201canomalies.\u201d Anomaly just means\u2063 something unexpected \u2062or strange. If there is something unexpected \u200bin the ground, why would\u200b you assume that the thing must be a \u200bmass grave \u2063of dead children?<\/p>\n<p>In two years, no one in Canadian state media has bothered to ask that question.\u200b Instead, they\u2019ve sought to discredit anyone\u200d who doubts the false narrative. As recently as\u200d this summer, the state\u2062 media \u2063outlet CBC ran this\u2062 headline: <\/p>\n<p>\u201cResidential school denialists tried to dig up suspected unmarked graves in Kamloops.\u201d \u2063 <\/p>\n<p>The Toronto Star wrote last year, \u201cGenocide deniers ask: Where are the\u200c bodies of the residential schoolchildren?\u201d \u2062 <\/p>\n<p>One senior member of \u200bparliament, Marc Miller,\u2063 argued that Canadians who ask questions are, \u201cpart\u200d of a pattern of denialism and\u200c distortion.\u201d In other words, seeking verifiable evidence of the media\u2019s claims is \u2064now \u201cdenialism.\u201d It\u2019s\u2063 precisely what they do with climate change. They make these outlandish,\u200c unsupported claims, and\u200c then when you look into those claims \u2063at all, they \u2062call you a \u201cdenier.\u201d\u2062 What \u2064happens to deniers? You can probably guess. If you\u2019re \u200bnot on their side of the issue, then you might go \u2064to prison. This summer, as Jon Kay reported at Quillette,\u200c the investigator \u2062appointed by Trudeau \u200cto investigate these graves called on the government to give \u201curgent consideration\u201d to \u201ccivil and criminal sanctions\u201d against residential school \u201cdenialism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If\u2064 we take that \u200cproposal seriously \u2014 and there are signs the\u200c Canadian \u200bgovernment will \u2064\u2014 then, ironically, it could mean a lot of\u200b natives \u2063are about to go to prison. In their efforts to prove their theory of residential\u200b school mass graves, these natives\u2064 are \u2063inadvertently debunking it.<\/p>\n<p>Chief \u200dDerek Nepinak\u200d of one Indian tribe just\u200d decided to dig up some graves at a residential school in Manitoba.\u200b This\u2063 is a school\u200d that, just a few weeks \u2062ago, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indigenouswatchdog.org\/update\/anishinabe-nation-in-manitoba-prepares-to-excavate-14-anomalies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> to be the site of 14 \u201cpossible\u200d burial sites.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a \u2064big\u2062 buildup and all the Disclaimers before he gets around to the reveal, which is\u2064 that the \u201cground-penetrating radar\u201d\u2063 hadn\u2019t picked \u200bup unmarked graves. In fact, it picked\u200c up a bunch of oddly shaped rocks. Alas, \u2063more than a dozen children\u200c had not\u2063 been buried under this school.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019d \u2062think that would be a cause\u2062 for celebration. This man \u2064just confirmed that\u200d children had not, in \u200bfact, been murdered and stuffed underground while attending a school many\u200c years ago. To most people, \u200dthat\u2019d be an uplifting development. A relief. But that\u2019s not what you\u200c see in \u200bthat video. Instead, the \u201cChief\u201d \u200dis clearly bothered by\u200c the discovery or lack thereof.\u200b He \u2062says he\u2019s worried \u201cdenialists\u201d \u200dmight use \u200dreality to undermine his activism and his quest for victimhood. The <em>lack<\/em> \u200b of dead children in the ground worries him.\u200b Think about\u2063 that. And he concludes by insisting that, despite this little setback\u2063 with his theory, everyone knows the Canadian residential school system was\u200d abusive. Everyone knows the Christians treated these kids horribly, he says.<\/p>\n<p>Do\u200b we know that?\u200c What reason \u200cdo \u200dwe have to believe that, exactly? The Canadian government and media just \u2063spent two years lying about an \u200dobviously falsifiable story, which is that there were mass \u2063graves at these schools. They lied about genocide when\u2062 they knew people \u2062could simply dig up the graves\u200b and prove \u2064them wrong. So why should \u2062we believe anything they have to say\u2064 about how\u200d horribly these schools were run for centuries? If these schools were so \u200bhorrible, why did they have to\u2063 concoct a\u2062 blatant, grotesque \u200clie about them?<\/p>\n<p>If you didn\u2019t want\u200c people to ask those questions, you\u2019d be honest with\u2063 them. You\u2019d do the exact opposite of what these cretins are doing. Lying \u200dlike\u200d this creates chaos and \u2063derails any possibility \u2064of a reasonable, fact-based conversation about what actually happened at these schools. It\u2019s almost\u2062 as if they\u2019re doing it on\u2064 purpose.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s \u200dtempting to dismiss all of \u2064this and say it\u2019s only happening in \u200bCanada, which is a \u200cuniquely godless place. And at some level, that\u2019s true.\u200d Canada is one\u200b of the few nations on\u2063 earth to permit abortion up to the moment of birth. \u200cThey\u2019re\u200c one of the only places on Earth \u2064where people who don\u2019t even \u2063have terminal\u200b illnesses can be euthanized like stray \u200cdogs. That level of savagery \u2062is exceptional.<\/p>\n<p>But on this issue, as with so many others, the Left in this country agrees with Canadian liberals. Recall that, \u200ca year before the Canadian\u2063 church burnings, rioters\u200b in this country \u200ctorched St. John\u2019s church across \u2063from\u2062 the White House. No one on the Left pretended to\u2062 care. When Donald Trump tried to tour the damage, they called him a fascist.<\/p>\n<p>The kind of people\u200d I\u2019m \u2063talking about here are\u2064 not\u2062 confined to\u200b Canada. And \u200ctheir\u200c goal \u200dis not simply to win elections. Their goal is destroying the foundation of Western civilization, most notably Christianity. And in the face of this effort,\u2063 virtually no\u2062 one is pushing\u200c back \u2014 not \u2063even the Vatican. In\u200d fact, the Pope has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/07\/29\/1114468497\/in-canada-the-pope-delivers-an-apology-to-indigenous-peoples#:~:text=In%20Canada%2C%20The%20Pope%20Delivers%20An%20Apology%20To%20Indigenous%20Peoples,-Listen%C2%B7%2013%3A51&#038;text=via%20Getty%20Images-,Pope%20Francis%20comes%20to%20Canada%20to%20apologize%20to%20Indigenous%20peoples,in%20the%20residential%20school%20system.&#038;text=via%20Getty%20Images-,This%20week%2C%20Pope%20Francis%20has%20been%20in%20Canada%2C%20on%20what,a%20%22Pilgrimage%20of%20Penance%22.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">apologized<\/a> \u200d to these Canadian activists. He \u2064went on\u2064 a \u201cpilgrimage of penance\u201d over Canada\u2019s residential schools.<\/p>\n<p>What did that accomplish? Nothing, of \u200dcourse. Cultural\u2062 vandals will\u200b forget their\u2064 own lies the moment \u200cthey\u2019re disproven. They\u2019ll just move on to the next lie. But they\u2019ll never forget weakness once\u2064 they\u2062 see it. They\u2019ll\u2063 never \u200cbe deterred by anyone who doesn\u2019t tell the truth about what\u2064 they\u2019re doing. So here\u2019s the truth. Like Justin Trudeau, Joe Biden\u2019s handlers hate Catholics, hate Western \u2062civilization, and they\u2019ll use whatever hammer is available\u200b to beat us over \u2064the head. They\u2064 are spiritual \u200cenemies.
