The U.S. attorney\u2019s\u2063 office suddenly went quiet.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, May\u200c 23, after four days of silence, Ms. Wolf delivered unwelcome\u2063 news. Mr. Weiss had revised what he wanted in the deal, now demanding that Mr. Biden plead guilty\u2064 to two \u2063misdemeanor counts of \u200cfailing \u200bto pay his\u2064 taxes. It\u2064 crossed \u200da red \u2063line for Mr. Clark.<\/p>\n<p>Erupting in anger, Mr. Clark\u2063 accused Ms. Wolf of misleading him.
