Steyer and his wife, Kat Taylor, own the home but are not present.<\/p>\n<p>Redfin, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/uh-oh-an-exodus-out-of-san-francisco-may-be-coming\/\" title=\"Uh Oh: An Exodus Out of San Francisco May Be Coming\">real estate brokerage site<\/a>,\u200d describes the $18 million home as &#8220;one of Lake\u2063 Tahoe\u2019s finest lakefront properties and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-and-hunter-biden-vacation-at-billionaire-climate-activists-lake-tahoe-mansion\/\" title=\"Joe and Hunter Biden holiday at billionaire climate activist's Lake Tahoe home.\">pinnacle \u200dwaterfront estate<\/a> within\u200c the gated\u2063 Glenbrook\u2064 community,&#8221; featuring a &#8220;spectacular lakeside gazebo [that] rests between the park-like grounds and the calming shores of Glenbrook Bay.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Steyer\u2014after \u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/tom-steyers-quest-to-impeach-the-president\/\">spending<\/a> millions of dollars \u200con a campaign to impeach then-president Donald Trump\u2014ran for the Democratic presidential \u2062nomination in 2020\u2063 but \u200bfailed to \u200cgain traction and \u2064dropped out after the first four \u2062state contests. Biden eventually won the nomination and went\u2064 on to defeat Trump.<\/p>\n<p>While Biden has <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/05\/18\/biden-omits-free-vacations-from-financial-forms\/\">taken<\/a> free vacations at the\u2062 homes of other prominent Democrats, the White House said the president and his family are renting the home at &#8220;fair market \u200dvalue.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s son, Hunter Biden, \u200cflew separately on a commercial flight \u2063with\u200c his wife Melissa Cohen and their son Beau and \u2064were already at the residence when the other Bidens arrived, the White House \u2063said.<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden is facing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/historic-significance-of-georgia-senate-contests\/\" title=\"Historic Significance of Georgia Senate Contests\">special counsel investigation<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lawyer-for-hunter-biden-asks-to-withdraw-from-case\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden's lawyer requests to withdraw from the case.\">tax evasion\u200d charges<\/a>.
