This admission comes as President Joe Biden invests billions\u200b of dollars to encourage \u200bthe adoption of electric vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Farley <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jimfarley98\/status\/1688552225373552640?s=20\">embarked<\/a> on the trip in Ford\u2019s new electric F-150 Lightning last week to\u2064 witness the EV transition in action. Starting \u200bin Silicon Valley, he made stops in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Farley documented much of the trip on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald Trump\">social media<\/a>, sharing his late-night charging \u200csessions and the challenges\u2063 of\u200d obtaining enough\u2064 power for long distances.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Charging has been pretty challenging,&#8221; Farley <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jimfarley98\/status\/1690858328606355456?s=20\">said<\/a>. At one stop, it took him\u2062 40\u2063 minutes\u200d to charge his truck&#8217;s battery to just 40 percent. &#8220;It was a really good reality check\u2014the challenges of what\u2063 our customers go through.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A lack of reliable charging stations is a common\u200c concern for\u2064 electric\u2064 vehicle \u2063drivers.\u200b However, this concern hasn&#8217;t deterred the Biden administration from proposing rules that\u200d would <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/complete-transformation-new-biden-rule-would-force-automakers-to-ditch-gas-sell-electric-vehicles\/\">effectively require<\/a> automakers \u2062to \u2062ensure\u200d two-thirds of \u2062the vehicles they sell are electric by 2032. President Joe Biden \u200dis also utilizing the Inflation Reduction Act to invest billions of dollars in\u2064 encouraging American consumers \u200cto <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/electric-car-advocate-biden-doesnt-own-any-electric-cars\/\" title=\"Electric Car Advocate Biden Doesn't Own Any Electric Cars\">adopt electric vehicles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Farley&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/reality-check-ford-ceo-struggles-to-charge-ev-during-road-trip\/\" title=\"Ford CEO Struggles to Charge EV on Road Trip\">social media posts shed light<\/a> on the hurdles associated with \u2064driving\u2064 electric\u200c vehicles over long \u200bdistances. In \u200cone post, Farley <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jimfarley98\/status\/1690394070110134272?s=20\">asked<\/a> his\u2064 followers to share their experiences with charging on the road. One user <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/amactraderz\/status\/1690441297121980416?s=20\">responded<\/a>, &#8220;I too charged and traveled Houston to Phoenix 1100 miles. Not the greatest, many slow, many broken,&#8221; referring to \u2062the charging stations encountered on\u200b the \u2062journey. Farley <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jimfarley98\/status\/1689532247442132992?s=20\">acknowledged<\/a> in \u2064other\u200d posts\u2064 that finding a charging station wasn&#8217;t \u200balways easy, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jimfarley98\/status\/1689539082182066176?s=20\">telling<\/a> one user that he had to \u2063visit multiple stations just to find an available\u200b one.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the challenges, Farley praised other features of Ford&#8217;s new \u200bF-150 Lightning, such as its front-end trunk, which he called a &#8220;frunk,&#8221; and the community of\u200b EV drivers he encountered while waiting at\u2064 charging stations. He also showcased the truck&#8217;s ability to power non-travel related\u200b tasks, like\u200b assisting a disabled individual&#8217;s electric scooter and inflating a children&#8217;s bounce house.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, the Biden administration <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/complete-transformation-new-biden-rule-would-force-automakers-to-ditch-gas-sell-electric-vehicles\/\">unveiled<\/a> a new rule to limit tailpipe \u200cemissions, aiming to ensure \u200cthat two-thirds of\u2064 new vehicles are electric\u2063 by 2032. This\u200b benchmark\u200d surpasses Biden&#8217;s 2021\u200c executive order, which called for half of all vehicles sold by 2030 to be zero-emission.
