That is the American dream,\u2062 and I am deeply worried that that American dream will not\u200c exist for my\u200b two\u2064 sons and their generation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ramaswamy began\u2064 his 2024 presidential campaign relatively unknown in the GOP\u2062 field.\u200c Before announcing his run for\u2064 presidency,\u200d he had no background in politics and was CEO of\u2062 Roivant, a healthcare company that focuses \u200bon applying new\u200c technology to develop drugs.<\/p>\n<p>However, he has recently picked up popularity, and \u2063polls show he is currently among the \u2063top three GOP candidates, behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and 45<sup>th<\/sup> President Donald\u200d Trump, who is currently leading by a wide margin.<\/p>\n<p>According to national polling\u2063 average, Trump leads with around 53% support, while DeSantis is around \u206415%, and Ramaswamy third\u200d at around 11%.<\/p>\n<p>The 38-year-old also recently picked up the support \u200bof\u2062 X owner, Elon \u2063Musk. The billionaire, \u2063who had previously showed support primarily for DeSantis has recently said\u200b that Ramaswamy is a \u201cvery promising \u200dcandidate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ramaswamy is set to join \u200cthe other GOP presidential hopefuls at \u200dthe\u200d debate stage in Milwaukee \u200don August 23<sup>rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
