against Hunter Biden were dismissed on Thursday afternoon by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sidney-powell-is-an-american-legal-giant\/\" title=\"Sidney Powell Is an American Legal Giant\">federal judge<\/a> in \u200bDelaware.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/4158022-judge-dismisses-hunter-biden-misdemeanor-tax-charges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hill<\/a>, U.S. District Judge \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/prosecutors-deny-hunter-biden-legal-teams-attempt-keep-gun-charge-agreement-afloat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maryellen Noreika<\/a> dismissed the charges, which were part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/federal-judge-dismisses-hunter-biden-tax-charges\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden tax charges dismissed by federal judge.\">previous ill-fated\u200c plea bargain<\/a>, after \u200cfederal\u200d prosecutor David Weiss\u2064 filed a\u2062 motion to\u200b dismiss last week and requested a \u2064change of venue.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Noreika<\/strong> ultimately \u200bgranted the motion.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/joe-biden\/hunter-biden-misdemeanor-tax-charges-are-dismissed-now-rcna100527#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News<\/a> reported the same\u200c or similar \u2063charges\u200d are likely to\u200d be refiled in either <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/judge-rules-man-can-keep-anti-california-license-plate-dmv-calls-racist-defamatory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">California<\/a> \u2064or\u200b Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/breaking-hunter-bidens-original-sweetheart-plea-deal-falls-apart-appears-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hunter \u200cBiden<\/a> did not pay\u2062 any taxes in 2017 or in\u200d 2018 in spite of earning large sums of cash \u200din both years, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/joe-biden\/hunter-biden-plea-deal-income-tax-case-gun-charges-rcna90144\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He \u2062also purchased a\u2063 gun \u2063while addicted to drugs\u200d in 2018 and falsified a government document \u2062in order to do so,\u2062 which is \u200da felony.<\/p>\n<p>Biden was\u2062 going to plead guilty to\u200b the\u200b charges until Noreika, who was <a href=\"https:\/\/trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov\/presidential-actions\/eight-nominations-sent-senate-today-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nominated<\/a> to the bench \u200cby then-President Donald Trump in 2017, picked the deal apart.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-slams-hunter-biden-special-counsel-david-weiss-suggests-great-idea-replacement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Weiss<\/a>,\u2063 the\u2062 U.S. \u200dattorney for Delaware, was\u200c behind the agreement that would have seen President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gop-demands-records-discovering-biden-used-several-fake-names-alternate-emails-vp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden\u2019s<\/a> son plead guilty in exchange for no jail time.<\/p>\n<p>The deal was criticized for\u200b its leniency.<\/p>\n<p>In \u2064addition, the prosecutor has been accused of slow-walking investigations\u200c into the first\u200c family.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, two IRS whistleblowers who worked on the agency\u2019s Hunter Biden investigation\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hunter-biden-irs-whistleblower-breaks-silence-just-couldnt-silence-conscience-anymore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">have said<\/a> the\u2062 government meddled in the probe.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/top-republicans-immediately-blast-appointment-david-weiss-hunter-biden-special-counsel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Weiss<\/a> was \u2062named special \u200ccounsel in\u200c a larger probe into Hunter Biden after he asked\u200c for the role and his \u200brequest was granted\u200c by Attorney\u2064 General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/merrick-garland-announces-special-counsel-appointed-hunter-biden-probe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Merrick Garland<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs \u2063special counsel \u200dhe will continue\u2064 to have the authority\u200b and responsibility that he has \u2064previously \u2063exercised to oversee the investigation \u2062and\u2064 decide where, when and whether to file charges,\u201d\u200c Garland\u2064 said last\u200d week.<\/p>\n<p>He \u200cadded, \u201cToday\u2019s announcement affords the prosecutors, agents and analysts\u2062 working on this matter\u200c the ability\u2063 to \u2064proceed with their work expeditiously and to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ex-trump-lawyer-says-doj-may-decline-to-charge-former-president-over-classified-docs\/\" title=\"Ex-Trump lawyer suggests DOJ may not charge former president for classified documents.\">make decisions indisputably guided<\/a> by the facts\u2063 and the law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Weiss\u2019 appointment as special \u200bcounsel was \u200bquickly criticized by Republicans in Congress.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s be clear what today\u2019s \u200dmove is really about,\u201d Republican Rep. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/james-comer-reveals-dark-truth-behind-hunters-special-prosecutor-cover-underway\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">James Comer<\/a> of Kentucky, who is
