The House Oversight Committee chairman is asking\u200d NARA to provide \u2062Joe Biden\u2019s \u200brecords \u2062from his VP\u200d days that \u201coverlapped with his son\u2019s \u200cactivities in Ukraine\u201d. \u200dHe\u2062 wants all unredacted communications in which Joe used a pseudonym; Hunter Biden, Eric\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/b4AoBdiBi5\">pic.twitter.com\/b4AoBdiBi5<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 \u2063Miranda Devine (@mirandadevine) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mirandadevine\/status\/1692172476992667832?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 17, \u20642023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script type=\"text\/plain\" data-service=\"twitter\" data-category=\"marketing\" async data-cmplz-src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The request\u2064 also mentioned \u2064the release of all \u2064emails pertaining to \u2064his son Hunter\u2019s business\u2062 dealings with Burisma \u2063and \u200bUkraine \u200cin general.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans have recently inched closer to launching an impeachment inquiry based on Hunter\u2019s purported foreign business dealings.<\/p>\n<p>The committee is asking for unrestricted special access to records\u2064 from the\u200c National \u200dArchives\u200d and Records Administration (NARA), titled, \u201cEmail Messages To \u2062and\/or From Vice President Biden and Hunter Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to\u2062 the NARA, \u2063the two emails released dated May 27<sup>th<\/sup>, 2016, and June 15<sup>th<\/sup>, 2016, were sent from Biden\u2019s aide \u200cat the time, John Flynn. <\/p>\n<p>The contents in \u2062the email chain included Biden\u2019s daily schedule\u200d for planned meetings with Ukrainian\u200c government\u200d officials.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, in the request, Comer asked \u2062for the emails and documents in their original\u2063 form,\u200c as\u200c opposed to censored \u200bversions or emails using different names for Biden. <\/p>\n<p>One \u2064highlighted document \u2062referenced \u200bBiden\u2019s speech delivered \u2064to the Ukrainian parliament on December,\u200c 9<sup>th<\/sup>, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, Burisma\u2019s owner\u200c at the time, Mykola\u200d Zlochevsky, \u2063allegedly told an FBI informant that he\u200b was forced into \u2064paying $10 million in bribery\u2063 payments to Joe and Hunter Biden in exchange for getting\u2062 rid of Ukrainian Prosecutor\u2064 General Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma at\u200b the time.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe \u200dCommittee\u2019s need for \u2063these\u2063 Vice-Presidential \u2064records is specific and well documented,\u201d Comer\u2019s letter stated. \u201cThe committee seeks to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/comer-demands-natl-archives-show-unredacted-emails-involving-hunter-and-joes-ties-to-ukraine-and-burisma\/\" title=\"Comer insists on unredacted emails from Nat'l Archives regarding Hunter and Joe's Ukraine and Burisma connections.\">craft legislative \u200csolutions aimed<\/a> at deficiencies\u2063 it has\u200d identified in the \u200dcurrent legal framework regarding ethics laws\u200c and disclosure of financial interests related to the immediate family members \u2063of Vice Presidents and Presidents\u200d deficiencies that may place American \u200bnational security \u200cand interests at\u200c risk.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In\u200c June, the White\u2064 House denied that Joe Biden ever accepted any bribes, referring to the allegations\u200c as  \u201cmalarkey.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
