Should he be prosecuted or not? In any normal circumstance, the answer would be, sure \u2014 why not? If you commit a crime, you should be prosecuted for the crime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">here\u2019s\u2062 <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the issue: Once\u2062 James Comey let Hillary Clinton off the\u200b hook for crimes, the answer became, no, Trump should not be prosecuted. That\u2019s\u200b because if only one side has to \u2062play by the rules, then \u200cthe rules are not rules \u2014 they are just a double standard.\u200b They\u200b are just a weapon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The notion that it is\u200d unprecedented for a president of the United States to engage in borderline criminal activity that violates RICO is not true. In 2014, I advocated for a full-scale use of RICO to target politicians. I said I would\u200c prefer widespread use\u2063 of\u200b RICO to \u200dgo after various <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/doj-may-charge-some-capitol-rioters-under-rico-racketeering-law\/\" title=\"DOJ May Charge Some Capitol Rioters Under RICO Racketeering Law\">criminal enterprises<\/a> run by politicians. \u2062I wrote an\u200b entire book titled \u201cThe People\u2064 versus Barack Obama,\u201d in which\u2063 I suggested that Obama had very \u2064likely engaged in, by Fani Willis\u2019 definition, RICO violations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Take the IRS scandal. In the IRS \u200bscandal, Barack Obama and his minions repeatedly said in public it would \u2063be \u2063amazing \u200bif the IRS audited and removed \u2064tax \u200bexemption from virtually every conservative\u2063 group in America leading up to the 2010 election. Then they did it. The IRS did it. But Obama claimed he never meant for them to do it. That looks very much like the sort of mafioso activity RICO \u200dwas meant to stop in the first place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now,\u2062 when I made this argument back\u200d in 2014, \u2063the entire press that \u2062reviewed the book said, \u201cThis is crazy. You could never do this.\u200d How could you possibly suggest something like\u2062 this?\u201d\u2062 And my answer was, \u201cYou know what? \u2063Perhaps if we <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-doesnt-deserve-a-rico-case-unless-biden-obama-and-hillary-do\/\" title=\"No RICO case for Trump without Biden, Obama, and Hillary.\">finally started holding politicians accountable<\/a> for their various criminal enterprises, they would stop doing crimes.\u201d But then they \u2063ignored Barack Obama\u2019s \u200bcrimes <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  ignored Hillary Clinton\u2019s. And <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">now<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  they\u2019re ignoring Hunter and Joe Biden\u2019s. The\u200b sort of RICO violations that we are \u200ccurrently talking about with regard to Trump and the election of 2020\u200b would fit the criminal violations committed by Hunter and Joe Biden much better.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1789-they-re-treating-trump-like-a-mobster-member-exclusive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Ben\u2063 Shapiro Show<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You want to talk about a RICO criminal enterprise? Let\u2019s say you had an actual honest \u200cfamily, not a mafia family, but a regular family. And that family sent a bag man to foreign countries to pick\u200d up cash on behalf of every relative of the vice president of the United States\u2063 while the \u200dvice president was presiding over foreign policy in those countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Does the plausible deniability there sound like a mafia situation?\u200d Joe Biden was calling into Hunter Biden\u2019s business meetings and saying, \u201cHow is the weather over there?\u201d Doesn\u2019t \u200dthat sound exactly like what a mafioso would do? You get the Don on the line and tell the local bartender, \u201cHow is the weather down there?\u201d And then everyone knows that if the bartender doesn\u2019t pay off the mafioso, then the place goes up in flames. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  looks like a \u2063RICO violation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you\u2019re discussing RICO\u2064 violations, \u200cyou can find RICO violations pretty much anywhere. I\u2019d be sanguine about that if they were even \u200cremotely applied evenly, but that has not been the case.\u2063 The treatment has only been applied to Trump. No one\u200b else is getting this sort of treatment. If you want to have a set of rules that applies to everybody evenly, I\u2019m totally for it. But if the\u2063 rules only\u2064 apply to Trump, we can all see what you\u2019re doing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What will end up happening is\u2063 there will \u2062be\u200b motivated Republican prosecutors who do bring RICO violations against Joe and Hunter Biden. All there needs to be is a prosecutor with courage \u2062in a \u200dlocal jurisdiction to do this with a friendly jury. Once they\u200d have made \u200dthis a one-sided tactic, get ready. We now have a bunch of local DAs\u2063 all over \u2062the country deciding that\u2062 they want to get their name on the paper. That\u2019s why Fani Willis in Georgia is \u2062doing this. It\u2019s\u200d why Alvin Bragg of Manhattan is doing this. People want their names in the \u2064paper.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You\u200c can expect this on all sides now. One of the predictable results is\u2063 that people who have families, people who have a sense of\u2064 shame and do not wish to see their lives investigated, are simply going to\u2064 stay away from politics. The best people will not go into politics. The only people left will be the ones willing to slug it out in court every single day, because that\u2019s what it\u2019s going to take \u200dfrom here on out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We have now entered \u2063the era of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/shapiro-past-time-to-fight-back\/\" title=\"SHAPIRO: Past Time To Fight Back\">mutually assured destruction<\/a>. And the only\u200d way \u2062to go back to something resembling \u2064normality is to pursue criminal indictment in some sort of\u2062 state law\u200b against Hunter and Joe Biden, in exactly the\u2063 same way that a local Georgia RICO violation is being pursued against Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I would argue there\u2019s something with regard to the Biden family that looks a lot more like a mafioso\u2064 family than anything that Trump did.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And that makes Trump\u2019s\u200b RICO prosecution utterly wrong.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two truths can coexist: Donald Trump likely broke classified document laws.
