Or <strong>\u201cI sentence you to death by prison\u201d<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<h3>Why this digression, you ask?<\/h3>\n<p>Because we need to be clear about what this all really means in commonsense language \u2014\u2064 no\u200d BS, just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dnc-names-trump-real-speaker-after-mccarthy-threatens-biden-impeachment-inquiry\/\" title=\"DNC labels Trump 'true speaker' following McCarthy's Biden impeachment inquiry threat.\">real-speak<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Former President Donald Trump is\u200c facing yet another\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/breaking-trump-indicted-ga-11-criminal-charges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">indictment<\/a>, the fourth\u200b in a string of \u200dfederal and state indictments brought this year.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/news\/trump-maximum-sentences-add-up-to-staggering-712-years-and-6-months-in-prison-for-all-91-counts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mediaite<\/a>, the maximum punishment he faces\u200b if convicted on all 91 counts in \u200dall four indictments is <strong>712.5 years in prison<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>That would be a death sentence,\u200d plain and simple. There is no other way to describe it.<\/p>\n<p>As Fox News\u2019 Greg Gutfeld said on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/wU5iAiYn6oo?t=209\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Five<\/a>,\u201d\u200c it would be a <strong>\u201cbloodless assassination,\u201d<\/strong> a \u2062political execution, just without the \u200clogistics of\u200b setting\u200c up a guillotine.<\/p>\n<p>We need to\u2063 see these charges for what they are \u2014 the wielding of what is supposed to be \u2062the impartial \u200bsword \u2063of justice against the leading rival of the\u200b current president during his\u2064 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Now, before anyone grabs his pitchfork, keep\u2062 in mind that Trump could <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fact-check-donald-trump-govern-prison-convicted-elected-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">still run<\/a> \u200cfor president\u00a0from prison and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/levin-takes-counterview-trump-power-potus-pardon-state-charges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pardon himself<\/a> \u200b from all crimes \u200bif he were to win. Not only that, but \u2062it is rare for someone who is convicted to get the\u200c maximum punishment anyway.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the two biggest hurdles for these indictments \u200dfrom the Democratic perspective are\u2062 far more imposing than people might realize.<\/p>\n<p>For \u2063one, much of their\u2063 case against Trump\u200d depends\u2064 on proving in a court of\u2063 law that he did not actually\u2062 believe he won the 2020 election.\u200b Unless they are mind readers or have some intel that no one else\u200b is aware\u200c of, it seems quite clear that Trump believed, and \u2062still believes, that he won that election, but was cheated.<\/p>\n<p>Second, if they convict the former president for challenging \u2063an \u2064election, then we will\u200b truly enter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/npr-celebrates-america-gone-full-banana-republic-finally-indicting-opposition-leaders-like-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">banana republic<\/a> territory.
