The successful buyer is \u2063likely \u2064to\u2063 be an investor with deep pockets because of the minimum \u2063guarantees\u200c the company is required to pay for sports rights, one of\u2062 the \u2063sources added.<\/p>\n<p>Headquartered in Switzerland, Infront\u2019s businesses include managing Italy\u2019s Serie A and the UK Premier \u200cLeague\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/germanys-dfl-to-kick-off-bundesliga-media-rights-sale-in-october-sources\/\" title=\"Germany\u2019s DFL to kick off Bundesliga media rights sale in October \u2013 sources\">international media rights<\/a>, as \u2064well as event operations, media rights distribution\u2064 and sponsorship\u200d sales.<\/p>\n<p>In June, Infront was\u2062 awarded broadcast rights in 22 countries in Central and South East Asia for the Olympic Games \u2064from 2026 \u2063through \u20622032.<\/p>\n<p>Wanda and Deutsche Bank declined\u2062 to\u200c comment. Infront did not \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/they-must-have-been-cheating-watchdog-group-sues-for-records-relating-to-derogatory-comments-bidens-atf-pick-allegedly-made-against-black-agents\/\" title=\"\u2018They Must Have Been Cheating\u2019: Watchdog Group Sues For Records Relating To Derogatory Comments Biden\u2019s ATF Pick Allegedly Made Against Black Agents\">immediately return requests<\/a> for comment.<\/p>\n<p>The sources, who requested anonymity as the matter is confidential, cautioned a deal is not certain and\u200c is subject to \u2064market conditions.<\/p>\n<p>China\u2019s property developers have been \u2062battered over the last few years as falling\u2063 sales and\u200b a wave of debt\u200c defaults have savaged a sector that previously contributed around \u200ba quarter of \u2064the country\u2019s gross domestic\u2064 product.\u200b <\/p>\n<p>In \u200dJuly, the three main credit ratings agencies downgraded Dalian Wanda\u2019s commercial management unit,\u200c warning of \u201cnon-payment risk\u201d ahead of the\u200d repayment of a $400 million bond that had been due at the time. It raised $320 million through the partial sale\u200b of its\u2063 entertainment\u2062 unit Beijing Wanda Cultural Industry to \u200bpay it off. <\/p>\n<p>It also stalled on \u2063a $22 million-dollar\u200c bond coupon payment in June, though it ultimately paid within\u200d the grace period. Additionally, it is \u200dfacing\u200c litigation\u2064 and asset freeze orders from courts in China due to payment\u2063 disputes. <\/p>\n<p>Wanda bought a majority stake in Infront for 1.05 billion euros ($1.1 billion) in 2015, in what was then an effort to support China in bidding for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/opposition-builds-scores-of-british-lawmakers-across-political-spectrum-unite-against-vaccine-passports\/\" title=\"Opposition Builds: Scores Of British Lawmakers Across Political Spectrum Unite Against Vaccine Passports\">major sports events<\/a>.
