min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>A suit was filed by the \u2064Avatar sequel \u200cfinancier at a\u2062 Los Angeles Superior court on Tuesday.\u200b The lawsuit alleged that Disney withheld\u200d profits and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-bidens-story-is-the-american-story-hunters-art-dealer-announces\/\" title=\"\u2018Hunter Biden\u2019s Story Is the American Story,\u2019 Hunter\u2019s Art Dealer Announces\">cut deals<\/a> to help boost its streaming platforms and stock \u2063price. <\/p>\n<p>As a \u200bresult, TSG was withheld\u200d from \u200cinvesting money into individual films\u2063 and could not sell\u200c its stakes in other movies, according to the lawsuit. <\/p>\n<p>The \u200cgroup has been involved in helping \u2063finance around 140 films \u200bproduced by 20<sup>th<\/sup> Century \u2063Fox,\u200b which Disney acquired in 2019.\u200d TSG\u2062 claimed since 2012 \u200dthat they have invested $3.3 billion into various projects.<\/p>\n<p>After noticing a decline in profits, TSG requested an audit of a sampling \u200bfrom three films that they financed\u200b for 20<sup>th<\/sup> Century Fox. <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/disney-sued-by-financing-partner-for-allegedly-scamming-them-out-of-millions\/\" title=\"Disney sued by partner for allegedly scamming them out of millions.\">finance partner claimed<\/a> after\u200c finding various \u201caccounting tricks\u201d they were underpaid \u200cby Disney \u2063by over $40\u2062 million.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cAt its root, it is\u200c a chilling example of\u200c how \u200dtwo Hollywood behemoths with a\u200d long and shameful \u2062history of \u200dHollywood Accounting, Defendants \u2063Fox and Disney, have tried to use nearly every\u2063 trick in the Hollywood Accounting playbook\u2063 to deprive plaintiff TSG.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the lawsuit claimed Disney\u2019s 2021 deal\u2062 with \u2062Warner Bros. Discovery \u2064directly cut into \u2062TSG\u2019s potential profits.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Moreover, when the finance group used its\u2063 rights to sell its stake in multiple films over the \u200dyears, the\u2062 notion \u200cwas \u200ddenied.
