Target\u2019s controversial merchandise included &#8220;pride&#8221; apparel for \u200bbabies, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/yourmoney\/article-12413179\/Target-blames-backlash-against-Pride-themed-collection-5-4-slump-sales-six-years.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tuck-friendly<\/a>&#8220;\u2062 swimwear, and products <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/22\/target-partnered-with-satan-supporter-who-wants-to-eradicate-critics-of-transgenderism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">designed<\/a> by a self-professed Satanist and transgender activist.<\/p>\n<p>Target stock tanked from a peak of nearly $170 per share in April to just more than $126 per share by mid-June, where shares remain.\u2063 Target\u2019s stock lost nearly $<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/05\/31\/targets-stock-loses-12-7-billion-hits-lowest-level-since-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">14 billion<\/a> in the last two weeks of May, as the controversial clothing collections made headlines.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/left-wing-pressure-to-cancel-joe-rogan-on-spotify-appears-to-backfire-as-company-releases-new-numbers\/\" title=\"Left-Wing Pressure To Cancel Joe Rogan On Spotify Appears To Backfire As Company Releases New Numbers\">quarterly earnings report revealed<\/a> the true scale of Target\u2019s \u200dlosses.
