It is clear that this crisis is urgent and immediate action is vital,&#8221; emphasized Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris.<\/p>\n<p>The primary focus \u2062of the \u200cbill is to target the sale of fentanyl and other\u2064 illicit drugs. Additionally, these platforms\u2063 would need to publish their retention policies \u200cand procedures for sharing such information.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the bill\u200d mandates that\u200d platforms submit a monthly report to the California Attorney General&#8217;s office regarding accounts flagged for illicit drug sales.
