The email \u201casked if [Podesta] \u2064 approved of\u200c the \u2063Everybody Votes campaign, a $106 million project designed to last five years and generate 2.2 million new\u2064 votes in eight states by 2020\u2014a project Podesta had been \u2018hoping for.&#8217;\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The proposal, according to CRC, was nearly identical to a plan sent to Podesta\u200d earlier\u200d that year by the president of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/wyss-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wyss Foundation<\/a>, \u2064a tax-exempt organization \u200cfounded\u200b by left-wing \u200dSwiss billionaire \u200cHansj\u00f6rg Wyss, who has \u201ca <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2016\/02\/28\/exclusive-clintons-swiss-ally-gave-big-bucks-to-u-s-campaigns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">history<\/a> of illegal \u2064interference in U.S. elections.\u201d That plan was purportedly crafted by Corridor Partners, a \u2062Democrat consulting firm. <\/p>\n<p>According to\u2062 CRC, the Corridor \u2063Partners plan had been edited to remove \u2062blatantly partisan language, suggesting\u200c an effort to obscure the initiative\u2019s true purpose \u2063of registering likely-Democrat\u200d voters. It\u2019s worth mentioning that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/charities-non-profits\/charitable-organizations\/frequently-asked-questions-about-the-ban-on-political-campaign-intervention-by-501c3-organizations-get-out-the-vote-activities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">federal law<\/a> expressly \u2064prohibits \u200dpartisan voter registration\u2064 through nonprofits: \u201cvoter education or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-democrats-are-weaponizing-nonprofits-to-run-partisan-voter-registration-drives\/\" title=\"Report: Democrats Are Weaponizing Nonprofits To Run Partisan Voter Registration Drives\">registration activities conducted<\/a> in a biased manner that favors (or opposes) one or more candidates \u200dis prohibited.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-96cc875eed55c8486ddc4fbd6fdbf74c fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-96cc875eed55c8486ddc4fbd6fdbf74c\"><\/div>\n<p>Both\u200d the Corridor Partners plan and the\u2063 Everybody Votes campaign plan emphasized the importance \u2062of registering voters in \u200deight focus states, and both \u2062included highly contested ones such as Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, and Nevada. <\/p>\n[[<strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/03\/09\/report-democrats-are-weaponizing-nonprofits-to-run-partisan-voter-registration-drives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Report: Democrats \u200dAre Weaponizing Nonprofits To \u200bRun Partisan Voter Registration Drives<\/a><\/strong>]\n<p>The CRC report goes on \u200bto highlight how VRP became\u2062 a popular destination for donations from left-wing\u200b billionaires and millionaires seeking \u2064to influence U.S. \u200delections.\u200c In 2018, a left-wing PAC known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/political-party\/mind-the-gap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mind the Gap<\/a> \u2014 which was founded by the mother of disgraced former\u200c FTX CEO and Democrat mega-donor <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/12\/01\/thank-sam-bankman-fried-for-democrats-2022-ground-game\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sam Bankman-Fried<\/a> \u2014 issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/capitalresearch.org\/app\/uploads\/Mind-The-Gap-Internal-memo.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">memo<\/a> informing leftist donors that \u201cthe \u2064most\u2063 effective \u200btactic\u201d to \u200cscore \u201cadditional Democratic \u2062votes\u201d is \u201cnonpartisan voter registration focused on underrepresented groups.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This strategy, if focused on\u200b Democrat-leaning so-called \u201cunderrepresented groups,\u201d could\u200b be \u201c2 to 5 times more cost-effective at netting additional\u2064 Democratic\u200b votes than the tactics \u2064that campaigns will \u200binvest \u200din (chiefly, broadcast\u200c media and digital buys),\u201d the memo \u2062advised. Notably, Everybody Votes is one of the three \u200dgroups the memo specifically recommended to donors.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-f900a5847acc7af9057234b56f1d1682 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-f900a5847acc7af9057234b56f1d1682\"><\/div>\n<p>In the years since its inception, Everybody Votes, or VRP, and its affiliated organizations have reportedly <a href=\"https:\/\/capitalresearch.org\/app\/uploads\/CRC-Voter-Registration-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">received millions of dollars<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/msnbc-host-reveals-which-republican-candidate-she-fears-the-most\/\" title=\"MSNBC host discloses her top Republican candidate concern.\">prominent left-wing figures<\/a> and groups. According to CRC, VRP\u2062 received more than $5 million from billionaire Warren \u2064Buffett\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/susan-thompson-buffett-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation<\/a>. The \u2064group \u2064has also been gifted more than $10 million from leftist billionaire George Soros\u2019 \u2062Foundation to Promote Open\u2064 Society. <\/p>\n<p>So,\u2064 what exactly has VRP done with the tens of millions it received from leftists?\u200b According to \u200cthe report, \u201cVRP and its sister groups have distributed $127 million in grants from 2016 through 2021 to more than \u200d80 different state and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/meet-the-tax-exempt-charity-secretly-bankrolling-democrats-get-out-the-vote-operations\/\" title=\"Discover the Tax-Exempt 'Charity' Funding Democrats' Voter Mobilization\">national left-leaning activist organizing groups<\/a>,\u201d which have \u201cpaid for an unprecedented scale of \u2018nonpartisan\u2019 voter \u2062registration\u200b work, with roughly $56\u200c million paid out during 2020 alone.\u201d These funds were also made available to left-wing \u2063groups in battleground states\u2064 such \u2064as Pennsylvania, Michigan, and\u200b Wisconsin in \u200b2020 and \u20632021. <\/p>\n<p>VRP also poured millions of dollars into Democrat \u2064consulting firms, many of which \u2062specialized \u200cin voter registration and \u200dget-out-the-vote efforts. <\/p>\n<p>On its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.everybodyvotes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a>, Everybody Votes boasts about\u200d registering 5.1 million new voters, \u206476 percent of whom are \u201cpeople of color.\u201d The group further claims 56 percent\u2062 of the 5.1 million new voters\u2062 are women and 47 percent are under the age of 35. In\u200d other words, these are \u2064predominately \u200dvoters most \u200clikely to vote for Democrats\u200c in any given election.<\/p>\n<p>These efforts to \u200cfund voter registration operations in key \u200cstates across the country \u2062seemingly had \u2062a prominent impact on the 2020 election results. According to CRC \u200cresearchers,\u2064 VRP\u2019s 5.1 million new registrations gave \u2062Biden \u201csomewhere \u2062between \u20631 \u2062million to\u200b 2.7 million votes across eight specially chosen swing \u200bstates during the 2020 \u2062election.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf the state-by-state projections of the campaign\u2019s Democratic consultants held \u200dtrue into 2020, the Everybody\u200d Votes campaign\u2019s \u2018massive registration surge\u2019 would have provided Democrats more \u200cvotes than the total margins of victory in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania,\u201d the\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/capitalresearch.org\/app\/uploads\/CRC-Voter-Registration-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> reads.\u200c \u201cBiden\u200b ultimately won\u200c each of these \u2062states in \u200b2020, netting\u2063 him 53 \u200delectoral college votes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Everybody Votes is also \u200bpurportedly gearing up to repeat its efforts ahead of\u200b the 2024 election, according to CRC.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-8bf0b6b94b2e01f9c31cc95940542e7b fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-8bf0b6b94b2e01f9c31cc95940542e7b\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">    \t\t\t\t\t   \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new report by the Capital Research Center reveals that a supposedly nonpartisan tax-exempt charity, claiming to be left-wing, is covertly financing voter registration initiatives favoring Democrats in crucial battleground states.
