If you read Andy McCarthy&#8217;s remarkable book, &#8216;Ball of Collusion,&#8217; which \u200dcame out in 2019, he makes very \u2062clear that it is Barack Obama who \u200dcorrupts\u2064 the Justice Department; it is Hillary\u2063 Clinton who routinely\u2062 breaks the law and\u2062 gets away with \u2064it; and now we have Joe Biden who has learned.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s learned\u2064 from Obama that it doesn&#8217;t matter what you do\u2014if you&#8217;re a liberal Democrat, you will not be \u200bprosecuted. (Feng Li\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;So what you&#8217;re\u200c seeing \u200dacross the country is a desperate, last-ditch\u200b effort by a corrupt machine to\u2063 destroy their most dangerous opponent in a \u2063way that not only violates the Constitution,\u200c but also undermines the rule of law and creates a\u2063 lasting \u2062bitterness that I believe will endure for a generation or more,&#8221; he warned.<\/p>\n<p>Gingrich criticized the mainstream media for their complicity in the corruption and expressed concern about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/backlash-against-disney-grows-after-liberal-actor-in-show-with-gina-carano-made-similar-posts-still-has-job\/\" title=\"Backlash Against Disney Grows After Liberal Actor In Show With Gina Carano Made Similar Posts, Still Has Job\">current political climate<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2063 think\u200c this is going to \u200dbe a horrendous \u200dperiod, and we need to understand that the people who want\u2063 to control America and dictate to the rest of us will \u200dbreak any law, lie about any topic, and manipulate the system\u2062 in any way they \u200ccan, and that \u2064includes a\u200d significant portion \u200bof the elite news media,&#8221; he stated.<\/p>\n<h2>Trump&#8217;s Georgia Indictment<\/h2>\n<p>Trump is facing 13 counts in \u2062the Georgia indictment, including conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree, conspiracy \u200dto commit filing of false\u200c documents, solicitation\u2062 of violation of oath\u2063 by a public\u2063 officer, and violation \u2064of the state&#8217;s Racketeer Influenced and\u2063 Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.<\/p>\n<p>If convicted and given the maximum sentence on all 13 counts, President Trump could potentially face up to 76.5 years in prison.<\/p>\n<p>When\u2063 considering the three previous indictments \u2064in \u2063New York, Miami, \u2062and Washington, D.C., the former president could be looking at a total of \u200d717.5 years in prison. The indictment in Washington, D.C., even carries\u200d the possibility of the death penalty.<\/p>\n<p>Trump and the other 18 defendants have until noon \u200don Aug. 25\u2064 to surrender themselves for processing in \u2063relation to the latest indictment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Trump\u200b and \u200dthe other Defendants charged \u2064in this Indictment refused to accept that Mr. Trump\u2062 lost, and they knowingly and willfully\u200b joined a\u200b conspiracy to\u200d unlawfully change\u2062 the outcome of the \u2063election \u200din favor of \u200bMr. Trump. That conspiracy contained \u200ca common plan and\u200d purpose to commit two or more acts of racketeering activity in Fulton County, Georgia, elsewhere in the State of Georgia, \u200cand in other states,&#8221; according to the charges.<\/p>\n<h2>Stealing Elections<\/h2>\n<p>Gingrich previously accused Democrats\u200c of having a &#8220;passion&#8221; for \u200bstealing elections and advised Republicans to win by\u2064 significant margins.<\/p>\n<p>During a Fox\u2062 News show, when \u2064asked if Republicans were doing enough to ensure free \u200dand fair elections in 2024, Gingrich responded, &#8220;Well, I think it&#8217;s probably almost \u200cimpossible \u200bunder current law to ensure an accurate election.\u200d And \u2064I think the \u200bonly Republican strategy \u2062in the long \u2062run is to\u2064 pick issues and win by margins so big that they can&#8217;t steal it. If you have a very close election,\u200d Democrats have a passion for stealing them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Trump is currently the leading contender among GOP 2024\u200c hopefuls.
