Too many practicing physicians have been targeted by medical authorities for making \u200btreatment decisions based on training and expertise, rather than blindly taking orders from the \u200dbureaucrats in Washington. Pushing conformity in \u200bmedicine \u2062only hurts patients, and\u2064 it needs to stop.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, it\u2019s hard\u200d to \u2064see how this can happen without a regime change in D.C. Dr. Fauci\u200d and the Biden administration\u200b used the pandemic to usher in an unprecedented era of government power over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tennessee-introduces-bill-allowing-fathers-to-prevent-an-abortion\/\" title=\"Tennessee Introduces Bill Allowing Fathers To Prevent An Abortion\">health care decisions<\/a>. When Fauci finally stepped down in December, many of us hoped this\u200c disastrous campaign would come to an end. But\u2063 those hopes were dashed with the appointment of \u200dJeanne Marrazzo\u200c as \u200bhis successor to head the National \u200bInstitute of \u2063Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).<\/p>\n<p>The \u200cnew boss might be even worse. A giddy Marrazzo described getting a COVID-19 vaccine as, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/justin_hart\/status\/1686829418927599616\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>a lot like Christmas when I was \u2062a kid!<\/strong><\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Here&#8217;s the new\u2063 Dr. Fauci, Jeanne Marrazzo, \u2064giddy with anticipation of her first \u2064vaccine shot: &#8220;It felt a lot like Christmas when i was a kid!&#8221;  selfies \u2064all around! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ES8fsL9kVT\">pic.twitter.com\/ES8fsL9kVT<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2063 Justin Hart (@justin_hart) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/justin_hart\/status\/1686829418927599616?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 2, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She has also <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DrJeanneM\/status\/1582748597581271047?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1582748597581271047%7Ctwgr%5Ee91b771914197e31c4b9740a1b540fb5bf6f28e5%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.washingtonpost.com%2Fhealth%2F2023%2F08%2F02%2Fnew-nih-niaid-director-jeanne-marrazzo-anothony-fauci%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>heralded Fauci<\/strong><\/a>  for his \u201ccommitment \u2064to advancing science.\u201d And Fauci \u2063predictably <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/health\/nih-selects-jeanne-marrazzo-succeed-fauci-infectious-disease-expert\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>praised Marrazzo\u2019s selection<\/strong><\/a>, assuring \u2063that she would \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/health\/2023\/08\/02\/new-nih-niaid-director-jeanne-marrazzo-anothony-fauci\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>stick with data and facts<\/strong><\/a>\u201d and warning that she will likely face \u201cantagonism on the part of people\u2063 with\u2063 extreme views.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s rich. While Marrazzo \u200dbasks in the\u2062 adulation of a \u2063fawning media, doctors doing the\u200d hard work on \u200dthe \u200cfrontlines are under\u2063 attack. In \u200bthe latest broadside, Dr.\u200c Paul Marik and I, cofounders of the Frontline COVID-19 Critical\u200d Care Alliance (FLCCC) just received\u200d a <a href=\"https:\/\/covid19criticalcare.com\/two-leading-covid-19-doctors-are-facing-accusations-of-spreading-misinformation-by-american-board-of-internal-medicine-abim-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>letter<\/strong><\/a>  from \u2062the\u200c American Board of \u200cInternal Medicine (ABIM) threatening to revoke our medical certifications for spreading what the committee considers \u201cfalse or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/medical-board-moves-to-strip-dr-peter-mccullough-of-certifications\/\" title=\"Medical Board Moves to Strip Dr. Peter McCullough of Certifications\">inaccurate medical information<\/a>.\u201d Apparently, the vast amounts of published peer-reviewed, clinical, and observational \u2064data that we\u2064 use to treat \u200dpatients are not based on \u201cconsensus driven scientific evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Independent thinking has formed the\u2062 foundation of medicine for a thousand years. Physicians apply the scientific \u2064method, test different approaches to heal patients, build on what works and ignore what doesn\u2019t. And even when scientific insights are widely\u2064 upheld, challenging of \u2062established beliefs\u200d has led to innumerable scientific advances throughout history. \u201cConsensus driven scientific evidence\u201d is a false notion whipped up during the pandemic\u200d to cudgel\u2063 the regime\u2019s\u2063 political opponents \u2014 and it has been largely successful.<\/p>\n<p>Our story is a telling\u200b case \u2062study, which I cover in detail in my new book, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyhorsepublishing.com\/9781510773875\/the-war-on-ivermectin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>The War on Ivermectin<\/strong><\/a>.\u201d In December 2020, just \u2063a \u2062few\u200b weeks after I voted for Biden, I was invited to testify \u200cbefore a \u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsgac.senate.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/imo\/media\/doc\/Testimony-Kory-2020-12-08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Senate Homeland Security\u200b Committee<\/strong><\/a>  \u2064on early treatment of COVID-19 to discuss my \u200dexperience treating patients with ivermectin and other repurposed, generic medicines. Two days\u2062 later, the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/ap-fact-check-united-kingdom-health-media-social-media-39efdb570c6e58bd99fbc5ae7f27dc05\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Associated Press<\/strong><\/a>  \u200bignored all the data I provided them, instead publishing a \u2064hit piece on ivermectin at a time when dozens of \u200bstudies\u2062 and health ministries around the world confirmed \u2063its\u200c efficacy. The video of my Senate appearance garnered 8\u200c million views before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/youtube-cancels-the-u-s-senate-11612288061\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>YouTube removed it<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the years since, endless attacks have\u200c been leveled at the FLCCC \u2064and\u2062 me personally. Media \u2062hit \u200cjobs branded\u2062 studied medical advice as \u201cfringe,\u201d \u201cquack,\u201d or \u201cRight-wing\u201d \u2014 despite\u200b the fact that\u200c at the time, I had\u2063 been a lifelong Democrat voter. Newswire services refused to distribute our press\u2064 releases. Our \u2062<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald Trump\">social media posts<\/a>\u200b were removed, and our accounts were repeatedly\u2062 suspended. PayPal\u2062 refused to process our donations. Shopify denied sales of our branded clothing for donations. Medium,\u200d LinkedIn, and Vimeo\u2062 shut down our channels.<\/p>\n<p>The ABIM is only \u200bthe latest\u200b organization to pile on, perpetuating the myth that ivermectin \u2063is dangerous \u2063without critically examining the scientific and\u200c clinical evidence. In its statement, the \u2064committee cited an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/coronavirus-live-updates\/2021\/09\/04\/1034217306\/ivermectin-overdose-exposure-cases-poison-control-centers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>NPR<\/strong><\/a>  \u200bstory that was later corrected for falsely claiming the\u200c drug was causing a surge\u2063 in emergency room\u2063 admittance. \u200cIt also made false claims that\u2064 ivermectin could\u200d be \u201cfatal\u201d while never mentioning the 99 controlled trials \u2013 46 of them randomized\u200d controlled trials \u2013 that showed ivermectin is highly effective in treating COVID-19 with little to no reported side\u200d effects. These trials include over 130,000 patients successfully treated with \u200cno severe \u2063side effects, consistent with the World\u200c Health Organization\u2019s \u200cfinding \u200bthat ivermectin ranks higher in safety than Tylenol or aspirin.<\/p>\n<p>Guess who chairs the ABIM\u2019s Council and\u2063 Infectious Disease\u2062 Specialty Board? None other than Dr. Marrazzo. Now, as the head of NIAID, she oversees a $6.3 billion dollar budget and will exert massive influence over policies that can impact every facet of our lives.<\/p>\n<p>This is the world Fauci created, and this is the torch\u2064 Marrazzo will carry\u200c forward. Our\u200c medical agencies desperately need an overhaul, and our professional societies need to be stripped of \u2064their\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-our-medical-agencies-desperately-need-an-overhaul\/\" title=\"Medical agencies urgently require a complete overhaul.\">newly created physician oversight powers<\/a>.
