Former President Donald Trump and\u200b his 18 co-defendants named in \u200bthe Georgia election indictment on \u2062Aug. 14 will be voluntarily\u200d surrendering later this month and will be booked at the Fulton County jail. The jail is open 24\/7,&#8221; stated the Fulton \u2064County Sheriff&#8217;s Office. \u2063However, due to the unprecedented nature of this case, some circumstances may change with little or no warning, according to\u2062 the spokeswoman.<\/p>\n<h2>No Special Treatment<\/h2>\n<p>Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat made it clear that President Trump and his co-defendants will not <a title=\"Sheriff: Tiger Woods Didn\u2019t Get \u2018Different Treatment\u2019 After Car Crash\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sheriff-tiger-woods-didnt-get-different-treatment-after-car-crash\/\">receive special treatment<\/a> once they surrender.\u200c &#8220;Unless someone tells me differently, we will be following normal practices. It\u200d doesn&#8217;t matter your \u2064status, we will have mugshots ready for \u2063you,&#8221; said Mr. Labat.<\/p>\n<p>The sheriff also mentioned \u2062that officials in Fulton County were taking notes from the indictments and arraignments against President Trump in New York, Miami, and Washington, D.C., and would <a title=\"Trump and 18 others to be booked at Fulton County Jail: Sheriff.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-and-18-co-defendants-will-be-booked-at-fulton-county-jail-sheriff\/\">apply similar arrangements<\/a> for him there.<\/p>\n<p>President Trump \u200cfaces 13 counts in Monday&#8217;s indictment, including a violation \u200bof Georgia&#8217;s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO Act), \u2064solicitation of violation \u2062of oath by a public officer, conspiracy to commit forgery in \u2063the first degree, and conspiracy to commit \u2063filing\u200b of false documents, among others. This is\u2062 the\u2062 fourth indictment brought\u200d against him this year.<\/p>\n<p>President Trump&#8217;s co-defendants in the Georgia election indictment include his former White House Chief\u2064 of Staff Mark Meadows, former New \u200bYork City Mayor Rudy\u200b Giuliani, President Trump&#8217;s personal lawyers\u2062 John Eastman and Sidney Powell, and his former attorney Jenna Ellis, along with over a dozen more. They have all been charged with at least one \u2063count of violating Georgia&#8217;s RICO Act.<\/p>\n<p>According \u2063to the indictment, President Trump and the defendants &#8220;refused to accept that Trump lost&#8221; the 2020 presidential election and knowingly joined a conspiracy to \u2062unlawfully change the outcome in\u2064 his \u200dfavor.
