Alexandra is accused of abandoning her son without proper clothing or heat. She has pleaded not guilty to charges of assault, reckless conduct, and other counts and has been released on bail. Her trial is \u2064scheduled for next year.<\/p>\n<p>According to Alexandra Eckersley&#8217;s lawyer, she was\u200d unaware of her pregnancy and gave birth alone. She immediately called 911 and led the \u200bpolice to the baby. The lawyer also mentioned that Ms. Eckersley faced medical complications. \u2063Since then, she has completed rehabilitation programs, \u2063remains sober, and has regular visits with her son.<\/p>\n<p>At the time\u2062 of Alexandra&#8217;s \u200barrest, the Eckersley family released a statement expressing their lack \u200cof prior knowledge about her \u200bpregnancy.
