Donald\u200d John Trump\u201d and indicated that the case \u200cwas \u200cmarked\u2063 as \u201copen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, when Reuters reached out for comment, they\u200d were told that Trump had not been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/illegal-alien-sent-western-new-york-dem-mayor-eric-adams-charged-sexually-assaulting-woman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">charged<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In response, \u200dVivek Ramaswamy, one of\u2062 Trump\u2019s opponents \u2062in the race for\u200b president, wrote a scathing post on X, formerly known as\u200b Twitter, in which he\u200d made some interesting strategy suggestions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHere we go again:\u200d another disastrous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bad-news-dems-new-numbers-show-trump-indictment-routine-losing-impact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump indictment<\/a>. indictment based on a due process violation is a legitimate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/george-floyd-case-reach-scotus-chauvin-make-major-legal-move-learning-fate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">legal\u2064 argument<\/a>,\u200c especially if there are concerns about procedural irregularities, such as publicly posting an \u2063indictment before the grand\u2063 jury has completed its process.<\/p>\n<p>If\u200b the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/judge-cannon-issues-ruling-trump-prosecutors-big-order\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prosecutors<\/a> are\u200c indeed found to have acted inappropriately by\u2062 prematurely posting \u2063the indictment, they should not \u2064be allowed to try the case, because, as Ramaswamy said, it \u2062demonstrates \u2063that they were too eager\u2063 and therefore not unbiased.<\/p>\n<p>Ramaswamy offering to write the\u2064 amicus brief on behalf of Trump\u200c is a \u200cmagnanimous move that serves to elevate him in the eyes of the American people.<\/p>\n<p>An <a href=\"https:\/\/dictionary.cambridge.org\/us\/dictionary\/english\/amicus-brief\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">amicus brief<\/a>, also known as a \u201cfriend \u2064of the court\u201d \u200cbrief, is \u200ba legal document\u2063 submitted to a court by a person or \u200dentity that\u2064 is not a party\u2063 to a case but has a strong interest \u2064in its outcome.\u200c The\u2064 purpose of an amicus\u200d brief is to provide the court with additional information, perspectives, or arguments that \u200cmay be\u2064 relevant to the case and that the \u200dinvolved parties might not fully address.<\/p>\n<p>Instead \u2062of just\u200d lip-service, the Yale law \u2063graduate
