But you\u2019d hardly know it these days. Today, all the celebrity prosecutors are Democrats. The \u2062left has an entire caste\u2064 of politicians who make their careers by loudly hunting down supposed \u201cwrongdoers,\u201d using whatever excuses they\u2063 can manufacture.<\/p>\n<p>This cabal of prosecutors has existed \u200dfor a while. \u200dIn New York, for instance, \u2063the attorney \u2062general\u2019s office has spent years neutering the National Rifle Association with a legal offensive meant to shut it down or\u2063 at least entirely disable it\u2062 as a national political force \u2014 an offensive\u2064 that has mostly succeeded. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1862566304\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-857ba9423df9017b46eff779f7cb7375 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-857ba9423df9017b46eff779f7cb7375\"><\/div>\n<p>But the Democrat \u200beffort to criminalize their political enemies has reached its climax in 2023. Republicans have sat and watched as four separate indictments have come \u2063down from three separate prosecutors,\u200d all with the same purpose: imprisoning Donald Trump and as many of \u2064his political allies as \u200bthey can get away with. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/23909543-23sc188947-criminal-indictment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Monday\u2019s indictment<\/a> out of Fulton County, Georgia, is the most extreme yet, seeking to ensnare not just Trump\u200c but 18 of his associates for the \u201ccrime\u201d of contesting the 2020 election through the courts and legislative process. <\/p>\n<p>The goal\u200c of all these indictments is simple: rig the 2024 election in the court system before a single \u2063ballot \u2063can even be cast, and criminalize the MAGA political movement Trump has\u2063 built. <\/p>\n<p>As our founders knew, and as Ben Franklin famously \u2064warned, maintaining a republic\u2062 is not easy. The temptation is\u2063 always there for tyrants to abuse their powers to \u2062nullify\u2063 elections and\u200b make their hold on power permanent. One of the crucial checks on that abuse\u200d of power is that \u200dwhen there is overreach,\u2063 other branches of government can push back. We understand this \u2063intuitively at the \u2063federal level. A president who grows too ambitious can be \u200cchecked by Congress or by the courts. <\/p>\n<p>But\u200b that is not the only balancing force in the American system. There is another: When politicians are tempted to prosecute their political enemies, for political reasons, they must fear the same thing happening to them. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-b2810220ba4b7ae388a9334d2e817cc6 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-b2810220ba4b7ae388a9334d2e817cc6\"><\/div>\n<p>Right now, the left does not have that fear, because \u2063conservatives\u200d have sat idle, refusing to act. That must change. <\/p>\n<p>Of the four indictments brought against Trump, three are completely legally unprecedented \u2064in nature.\u200c Jack Smith\u2019s J6 indictment and the new\u2064 Fulton County case are both attempts to criminalize \u2062previously \u2062completely legal efforts to contest disputed elections through the courts and legislative bodies.\u200d Alvin Bragg\u2019s case in New York, meanwhile, is a surreal effort to prosecute Trump for \u201ccovering up\u201d a federal\u2063 crime he has never even been charged with.<\/p>\n<p>For the sake of rigging an election and imprisoning its enemies, the left got creative. For the sake of defending \u200cour system of government from this outlandish attack, we may\u2064 have to get creative too. I offer the following examples\u200d as a\u200c starting point, but by no means an endpoint. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hunter Biden<\/h2>\n<p>If Trump \u2063can be harassed everywhere from Fulton County to \u200cthe Financial District, why can\u2019t any state prosecutors take aim at Hunter Biden, whose lifetime of sordid criminal behavior has been released for the entire planet\u200b to see?\u2064 <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-ddbe1d261ebee60742fd73aa135fe55f fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-ddbe1d261ebee60742fd73aa135fe55f\"><\/div>\n<p>Biden has written in his memoir about a four-day crack bender he went on in\u2064 Nashville in \u2062October\u2064 2016, part of a \u201ccrack-fueled, \u2063cross-country odyssey.\u201d His infamous laptop, meanwhile, has damning proof \u200cof Biden buying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10966153\/Hunter-Biden-spent-30k-prostitutes-FIVE-MONTHS-documents-reveal.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tens of thousands of dollars\u2062 worth of prostitute services<\/a> from Florida-based madam Ekaterina Moreva. What can Florida do in response to \u2063that?\u2062 I don\u2019t\u200d know\u2063 the answer, \u200dbut I \u2062know this: If Democrats discovered a Trump family member had sent thousands to a madam in \u200bone of\u2062 their \u2063states, the answer\u200d would not be \u201cnothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">James Biden<\/h2>\n<p>Joe Biden\u2019s brother has been at the heart of a \u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2020\/03\/09\/james-biden-health-care-ventures-123159\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/doj-ends-matt-gaetz-probe-with-no-charges\/\" title=\"DOJ Ends Matt Gaetz Probe With No Charges\">long-running federal investigation<\/a><\/a> into various health care ventures he was part of, in \u2064which\u2063 James flagrantly trafficked \u200cin his brother\u2019s name to attract investment that \u2062otherwise never would have happened. \u200dJames then allegedly used\u200d these companies as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-absolutely-certain-doj-investigation-will-clear-me-of-wrongdoing\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden: \u2018Absolutely Certain\u2019 DOJ Investigation Will Clear Me Of \u2018Wrongdoing\u2019\">personal piggy bank<\/a>. Today, thanks to the\u200b Hunter Biden whistleblowers, we can guess \u2063the real reason no federal \u2064charges have been forthcoming: James Biden\u2063 is being politically protected. \u2064Oh well. Since Biden\u2019s companies have operated in states like Florida and Kentucky, it\u2019s time for state-level officials to get in \u200con \u2063the action.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alejandro Mayorkas<\/h2>\n<p>The \u2064calamity along the U.S. border has long ceased to be defensible as simply an overmatched Border Patrol grappling \u2062with a \u2063flood of humanity. \u2062It is a calculated dereliction of duty to enable an ongoing invasion of the United States. Congress should of course impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas\u2062 for his\u2062 conduct, but\u2062 there\u2019s another option: indict him for abetting human trafficking. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Black \u2062Lives Matter<\/h2>\n<p>The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation is the most glaring charity scam in \u2062America. BLM <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/black-lives-matter-donations-george-floyd-protests-ddcf0d21d130a5d46256aa6c5d145ea7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">took in $90 million<\/a> \u2062 in donations in \u2063its first year of operations, riding high on the link between its\u200c name and the chant shouted by George Floyd \u200crioters. <\/p>\n<p>The charity, from\u200d the beginning, was a scam. It spent $6 million on a luxury home in the \u200bLos\u2062 Angeles area, justifying the purchase by saying it could be used by black social media influencers (seriously) \u2062or serve as a \u201csafe house\u201d for people receiving \u201cdeath threats\u201d (seriously). In reality, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/04\/07\/1091487910\/blm-leaders-face-questions-after-allegedly-buying-a-mansion-with-donation-money\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the house<\/a> was enjoyed by founder Patrisse Cullors for her personal use, while being monitored by her brother, who was on BLM\u2019s payroll. <\/p>\n<p>The above is all we need\u200c to call it a criminal scam. Buying an entire luxury\u200c house with dollars \u200ddonated to fight racism? AG offices <em>exist <\/em>to prosecute this sort of thing. BLM got donations from every state in the country and quite possibly nearly every county. So it\u2019s \u200dtime \u200dRepublican AGs acted accordingly. The\u200c people of their\u2063 states were defrauded by BLM. Investigate and indict them.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Southern \u2064Poverty Law Center<\/h2>\n<p>For \u200bdecades, the Southern Poverty Law \u2064Center has collected revenues well in excess of its spending. In 2022, it collected $140 million and spent \u200cjust \u2062$110 million,\u200b for <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.propublica.org\/nonprofits\/organizations\/630598743\/202320469349300512\/full\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a surplus<\/a> \u2064of nearly $30 million. It has amassed a war chest of more than $700 million. The SPLC\u2019s\u2062 lavish headquarters has been nicknamed\u200d the Poverty Palace. Even other, more principled \u2064liberals find the group completely loathsome; in 1996, one of them called SPLC \u2064founder \u200dMorris Dees <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.fo\/f6s0h\">\u201ca fraud and a conman.\u201d<\/a> In a 2019 piece, former staffer Bob Moser <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/news\/news-desk\/the-reckoning-of-morris-dees-and-the-southern-poverty-law-center\">said the group<\/a> was \u201cripping\u201d off donors and was essentially a \u201ccon.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Well, the SPLC is headquartered in Mobile, Alabama. So, I ask, where is the war \u200croom in the Alabama AG\u2019s office investigating the SPLC the way New York investigates the NRA?<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Literally\u2063 Any Democrat, for Anything<\/h2>\n<p>But really, giving specific names\u2064 is beside the point. The cases against Trump and his\u2064 associates aren\u2019t the product of a reasoned criminal\u2064 inquiry. They are the product of years of work that started from the premise of \u201cinvestigate\u200d Trump for literally \u200canything, and bring whatever charges you can\u200b come up\u2064 with, even if they\u2019re invented.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>That premise can be equally applied to \u200c <em>any <\/em>Democrat official,\u200c and for the time being, \u2064it should be. Given\u2064 how many lawmakers fudge their federal taxes (or don\u2019t pay them at all),\u2063 what are the odds they\u2019re paying their state taxes \u200dproperly? What\u2062 are the odds that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-should-republicans-respond-to-fulton-county-indict-the-left\/\" title=\"Republican response to Fulton County: Indict the left.\">congressmen representing deep-blue cities<\/a> in\u200c red states are \u2062perfectly clean in all their dealings? That\u2019s a good place\u2063 to start. Send out subpoenas, demand records, fish constantly for anything\u200b remotely questionable. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cInvestigate first, define the crimes\u200d later\u201d should be\u2063 the order of the day. And for even the most minor \u2064of offenses, the rule should be: no charity, no\u2062 goodwill, no mercy. After all, it\u2019s what Democrats\u200d have practiced the past seven years. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-c37caea264c50ada74f971b3f6b0d627 fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-c37caea264c50ada74f971b3f6b0d627\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">    \t\t\t\t\t   \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>includes high-profile figures like Kamala Harris, Stacey Abrams, and Andrew Cuomo. Their dominance in the media often overshadows the significant presence of Republican attorneys general, creating a skewed perception of the political landscape.
