If claiming an election\u2063 is stolen\u200d is truly a crime, as prosecutors and grand jurors in Trump\u2019s Georgia case suggested on\u200d Monday, failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams should be behind \u200dbars. <\/p>\n<p>Abrams lost the race for governor in Georgia in 2018 to then-Secretary of State Brian Kemp by 1.4 percentage points. Due to the small margin of victory, Abrams refused to formally concede her loss because\u200d she believed the election was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2018\/11\/18\/politics\/abrams-kemp-georgia-race-legal-winner-sotu-cnntv\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201ctainted\u201d<\/a> which led to the \u201cdisinvestment and disenfranchisement of thousands of voters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In her \u201cnon-concession speech,\u201d the \u200cDemocrat admitted that Kemp \u201cwill be certified as the victor in \u2064the 2018 gubernatorial\u2064 election\u201d but stopped short of officially agreeing that she lost.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be clear, this is \u2063not a speech of concession. Concession means\u2062 to acknowledge an action is right, \u2062true, or proper. As a woman of conscience and faith, I cannot concede,\u201d Abrams <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajc.com\/blog\/politics\/stacey-abrams-will-not-concede-because-the-erosion-our-democracy-not-right\/JQqttbuF09NYkMQbIYx9BM\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The activist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/stacey-abrams-group-files-federal-suit-alleging-georgia-mismanaged-election-1543351922\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">threatened lawsuits<\/a> but never provided evidence for \u200bher claims that black voters\u2019 votes were being suppressed at the polls. Instead of facing punishment for her lies, Abrams was \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2019\/11\/07\/why-does-the-media-prop-up-failed-democratic-candidates-like-stacey-abrams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">elevated<\/a> \u2064by\u2062 her party and the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/04\/22\/cbss-gayle-king-to-failed-candidate-stacey-abrams-youre-extremely-qualified-to-be-vice-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">corporate media<\/a> as the \u200bface of\u2064 their attempt to permanently manipulate elections ahead of Trump\u2019s \u2062second and third runs. She was so encouraged by this attention that she <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/11\/08\/imaginary-georgia-gov-stacey-abrams-loses-reelection-to-same-republican-she-lost-to-four-years-ago\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ran and lost against<\/a> Kemp again in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Abrams\u2019 sore loser behavior resonated with the Democrat Party, which still\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/01\/06\/poll-more-democrats-denied-trump-won-where-were-democracy-fears-then\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">clings to its \u2062own \u2063stolen-election theories<\/a> used \u200bto undermine Trump\u2019s victory in \u200d2016. She quickly entered the pool of possible options for President Joe Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/04\/24\/imaginary-georgia-governor-stacy-abrams-dreams-of-being-vice-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">running mate<\/a>. Her whining even scored her political points with other\u2064 failed candidates such as\u200d Hillary Clinton, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/hillary-clinton-once-claimed-that-questioning-election-results-was-a-threat-to-democracy-guess-what-shes-doing-now\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">complained<\/a> that \u201cif [Abrams] had a fair election, she already would have won.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Years after her initial loss, Abrams was still pretending that Georgia elections were rigged against her. In 2021, she made a national show of \u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/04\/27\/usa-today-retroactively-edits-stacey-abramss-op-ed-to-downplay-her-call-for-georgia-boycotts\/\">calling<\/a> \u2063 for\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/04\/27\/usa-today-retroactively-edits-stacey-abramss-op-ed-to-downplay-her-call-for-georgia-boycotts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">boycotts of Georgia<\/a> when Republicans \u2062in her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/election-denialism-turned-loser-stacey-abrams-into-a-multi-millionaire\/\" title=\"Election Denialism Turned Loser Stacey Abrams Into A Multi-Millionaire\">state passed election integrity laws<\/a>. To this\u200b day, she regularly appears on TV to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nNAi973pLgQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">discuss<\/a> how \u200cto advance Democrats\u2019 undemocratic\u2063 version of \u201cdemocracy\u201d during \u2062elections.<\/p>\n<p>Disclosure filings from her second failed campaign in the Peach State suggest that, between 2018 and 2022, Abrams\u2019 election fraud \u200dbook tour, speech circuit, and activism\u2062 made her into a\u200b multimillionaire.<\/p>\n<p>In just four years, Abrams went from <a href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/2018\/04\/24\/stacey-abrams-debt-georgia-governor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">arguing<\/a> that her <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/stacey-abrams-im-running-governor-200000-debt-191600455.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$400,000<\/a> in \u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nasa-worker-sentenced-to-18-months-in-prison-after-lying-to-govt-for-pandemic-benefits\/\" title=\"NASA worker sentenced to 18 months in prison after lying to govt. for pandemic benefits\">credit card debt<\/a>, student loans, back taxes, car loans, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/if-saying-an-election-is-stolen-is-a-crime-why-isnt-stacey-abrams-in-prison\/\" title=\"If claiming election theft is illegal, why isn't Stacey Abrams incarcerated?\">real estate debt shouldn\u2019<\/a>t disqualify her from running to \u200dconfessing her <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/2022-midterm-elections-biden-business-atlanta-georgia-c4e30b9bbabb586ba1f5f5ad8cc0301c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$3.17 \u200cmillion<\/a> worth just \u200bmonths before voters would \u2063reject her again in the 2022 election.<\/p>\n<p>For objecting to how the 2018 gubernatorial election in Georgia ended, Abrams was handed fame and fortune. For objecting to \u2063how the 2020 presidential\u200b election in Georgia\u2063 was handled, Trump was slapped with 13 felony charges and\u2063 the possibility of jail time.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/09\/4-in-5-americans-see-two-tiered-justice-system-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">majority of Americans<\/a> already believe the U.S. has a two-tiered system of justice.
