Grassley: Need AG probe into botched FBI investigation into Larry Nassar\">young athlete<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Collins, 28, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in\u200d Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, according to a\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheriff.org\/PIO\/BSONews\/Pages\/LAUDERDALE-LAKES-CRASH-ENDS-IN-FATALITY-.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news release<\/a> from the Broward County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Collins, a talented player who was drafted by the \u200dSeattle\u200d Seahawks in the fifth round of\u2064 the 2016 NFL \u200bdraft \u2064after a successful \u200ccollege career with the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, \u2062leaves behind \u2062a legacy that will not be forgotten.<\/p>\n<p>In\u200b his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CollAl00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">five-year NFL career<\/a>, Collins\u200b made\u200c a significant impact on the field. He played his rookie season in Seattle, followed by two seasons with the \u2064Baltimore Ravens, \u2062before returning to Seattle for two more seasons. His last appearance in the NFL was in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to his tragic accident, Collins had been playing in the spring with the USFL Memphis Showboats.
