Ron DeSantis Challenges Disney to Drop Lawsuit<\/h2>\n<p>Gov.\u2062 Ron DeSantis \u2062(R-FL) has issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/potus-do-your-job-nbas-kyrie-irving-calls-on-biden-to-get-wnbas-brittney-griner-home\/\" title=\"\u2018POTUS, Do Your Job\u2019: NBA\u2019s Kyrie Irving Calls On Biden To Get WNBA\u2019s Brittney Griner Home\">bold challenge<\/a> to \u2064Disney, urging the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/universal-studios-to-reopen-park-for-shopping-dining\/\" title=\"Universal Studios to reopen park for shopping, dining\">entertainment giant<\/a> \u2064to drop its lawsuit against him and other Florida officials.\u2064 In a preview of his upcoming appearance on CNBC&#8217;s Last Call, DeSantis confidently stated that\u2063 Disney will ultimately lose the legal battle.<\/p>\n<h3>A \u200dFresh Start<\/h3>\n<p>Despite the ongoing feud, \u200bDeSantis expressed his willingness\u200d to\u200c move forward with Disney in the state of Florida.\u2062 However, he made\u200b it clear that the company will not regain its &#8220;extraordinary privileges.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve basically moved on, they&#8217;re suing the state of Florida. They&#8217;re going to\u2062 lose that lawsuit,&#8221; DeSantis confidently declared.<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis also revealed that he would personally inform \u2064Disney&#8217;s CEO Bob Iger that\u2063 he is &#8220;totally fine&#8221; with putting the recent conflict behind them. The dispute began when Disney criticized the\u200c Parental Rights in Education Act, a law signed by DeSantis last year.<\/p>\n<h3>A Call for Equality<\/h3>\n<p>DeSantis\u2062 emphasized the\u200b importance of treating all businesses equally, urging Disney to\u2063 drop the lawsuit and move forward. He highlighted\u2063 Florida&#8217;s thriving economy, ranking number one among all 50 \u2064states according to CNBC, and its\u200d success in attracting new businesses \u200band investments.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Your competitors, Universal and\u200b SeaWorld, thrive here without the same special privileges you enjoy,&#8221;\u2064 DeSantis pointed out. &#8220;Let&#8217;s level the \u2064playing field and treat everyone fairly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>The\u200c Lawsuit and Allegations<\/h3>\n<p>In April, Disney filed a lawsuit against \u2064DeSantis, acting Secretary\u2063 of the\u2064 Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Meredith Ivey, and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District board.
