But the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming. The wicked \u200cdraw the sword and bend the\u200d bow to bring down the\u200c poor and needy, to slay those whose \u2064ways are upright.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken. Better the \u2062little that\u200d have righteousness than\u2063 the wealth of many wicked.\u2063 For\u2063 the power of the wicked will \u2063be broken, but\u200b the Lord \u200cupholds the righteous. The blameless spend their days under the \u2064Lord\u2019s care, and\u2064 their\u200b inheritance will \u2064endure forever. In times of disaster, they will not wither, and \u200bin days of famine, they will have plenty.\u2064 But the wicked will perish,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Though the Lord\u2019s enemies are like \u200bthe flowers of the field, \u2064they will be consumed, and\u2064 they will\u200c go \u2064up \u200cin \u2062smoke,&#8221; he concluded.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Not only has &#8220;Rich\u200d Men North of Richmond&#8221; soared to the top of the iTunes country chart, but\u2063 two other songs by Anthony, &#8220;Ain&#8217;t Got a Dollar&#8221; and &#8220;I&#8217;ve Got to Get Sober,&#8221; have also claimed top spots. These songs have replaced Jason Aldean&#8217;s &#8220;Try That in a Small Town.&#8221; Additionally, three more of Anthony&#8217;s songs, &#8220;I \u2064Want to \u200bGo Home,&#8221; &#8220;Virginia,&#8221; and &#8220;Rich Mans Gold,&#8221; have cracked the top 10.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s crazy to me \u200bbecause I remember back in June, I played here for about 20 people,&#8221; Anthony shared with the enthusiastic crowd.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent YouTube video, Anthony opened up about the inspiration behind his songs and their\u2064 roots in the struggles of everyday people.<\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;The universal thing\u200d I see\u2064 is that, no matter how hard people \u2063work, they can&#8217;t seem to get\u200b ahead. \u2063The dollar \u200bisn&#8217;t worth enough, and they&#8217;re being over-taxed. People are just sick and tired of being sick and tired.
