He can\u2019t defend himself publicly because it might taint the\u2063 jury pool,\u2019\u201d Stone said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He \u200cadded, \u201cI\u2019ve \u200bbeen in this jury box. I\u2019ve \u2062been in\u200b this courtroom. I\u2019ve stood in \u200bthe dock there. This jury pool\u2064 is\u200d already tainted. I don\u2019t \u2064think the prosecutors have thought about that yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stone, 70, also said the\u200d motivation\u200b to prosecute Trump was\u200b entirely political.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoes anyone in their right mind think\u200d that if Donald Trump was not leading\u200b in the \u200dpolls, both Republican polls by double digits\u200b and leading Joe Biden in the national polls, head-to-head \u2063nationally and in every swing state, that\u200c they would be doing \u200bthis?\u201d\u2064 Stone asked.<\/p>\n<p>Stone\u2063 said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/will-trump-indicted-grand-jury-meet-da-expected-bring-dozen-charges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a> is ultimately being \u200dcharged with \u200cquestioning the results of an election, which is something Democrats did in\u200d large numbers\u2063 in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt \u200breally\u2063 is election interference,\u201d\u2063 he said. \u201cIn other words, questioning the \u200boutcome of an election because of the enormous number\u2062 of anomalies and irregularities is a crime for which you must go to prison.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stone pointed out \u2064high-profile\u2064 Democrats\u2062 such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-strategists-advice-biden-camp-regarding-kamala-harris-backfires-badly-republicans-say-please\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kamala \u2062Harris<\/a>, Sens. Amy Klobuchar \u200dand Chuck \u2063Schumer, Reps.
