According to \u2062McCaul, this \u200dmove will\u200d provide financial \u2064support for Iran&#8217;s &#8220;terror operations&#8221; and their pursuit of\u2063 a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/state-dept-calls-on-iran-to-end-dangerous-nuclear-buildup\/\" title=\"State Dept. Calls on Iran to End \u2018Dangerous\u2019 Nuclear Buildup\">nuclear bomb<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During an interview with Fox News host Shannon Bream\u2063 on\u2062 &#8220;Fox\u2064 News Sunday,&#8221; McCaul discussed various issues \u2063in the Middle\u200c East, including the \u2063funding being sent to Afghanistan by \u2064the \u200cBiden Administration.<\/p>\n<p>The reported prisoner swap with Iran not\u200d only involves the release of detained Americans \u200cbut\u2063 also includes \u200dthe freedom of Iranian criminals \u200cwho have \u200cevaded sanctions imposed\u2063 against Iran, known as the world&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/iran-close-to-starting-nuclear-weapon-testing\/\" title=\"Iran on the verge of conducting nuclear weapon tests.\">leading \u2064state sponsor<\/a> \u2063of terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>As \u2062per a report from The New York Times, the United States plans to transfer nearly $6 billion of Iran&#8217;s assets in South Korea to an\u2062 account in the central bank of Qatar. Qatar will \u2064have\u200b control \u2062over \u200dthe funds and will only allow\u2063 Iran to access the \u2063money for &#8220;humanitarian purchases,&#8221; according to sources cited by the Times.<\/p>\n<p>The Americans \u2064will only be\u200c permitted to leave once the funds have\u200b been transferred to the Qatari account. They \u200cwill \u200bbe flown to Doha, \u200dthe capital city of Qatar, as \u200dthe country played a crucial role in negotiating the arrangement.<\/p>\n<p>McCaul dismissed the notion\u2063 that the Ayatollah would not \u2063have control over the money, deeming it ludicrous. He argued that the\u2064 funds\u2062 would ultimately \u2063support Iran&#8217;s \u200dproxy war, terror operations, and their nuclear ambitions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They are now starting to talk about the JCPOA all over \u2063again, which in my judgment, will lead\u200d us \u2062down a course to a legal nuclear\u2063 bomb in Iran,&#8221; McCaul warned. &#8220;Prime Minister\u2062 Netanyahu\u200d came out strongly against this. \u2062I think\u200b we&#8217;re going back to the\u2063 mistakes of the past.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>McCaul also expressed concern \u200cover the special envoy to Iran, who is \u2062currently under investigation for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-says-doj-sent-him-target-letter-in-january-6-probe-signaling-he-is-about-to-be-indicted\/\" title=\"Trump claims DOJ sent him target letter in Jan 6 probe, hinting at imminent indictment.\">mishandling classified \u2063information<\/a>.
