These revelations have raised \u2062questions about the origins of COVID-19 and the role of U.S.-funded\u200c research.<\/p>\n<p>In a\u2063 commentary piece <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/opinion\/anthony-fauci-covid-vaccine-mandates-immunity-rand-paul\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">published by Fox News<\/a> in\u2064 January 2022, Paul wrote that Fauci\u2019s unique position in public life made\u200b possible misstatements exceptionally dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Fauci was simply one family doctor in Peoria, his mistakes\u2063 would not be so catastrophic.
