Some relocated, while \u200cothers\u200d signed relocation agreements and were preparing \u2064to leave.<\/p>\n<p>But instead of\u2064 allowing\u200b this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/op-ed-wresting-land-rights-from-israel-using-a-historic-arab-village-that-never-existed\/\" title=\"Op-Ed: Challenging Israel's Land Rights via a Fictional Arab Village\">routine \u200czoning enforcement\u200b case<\/a> to \u200dbe settled like\u2062 any\u2063 other \u2064real \u2064estate dispute involving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/op-ed-not-secret-conspiracy-eu-encourages-palestinians-violate-international-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">squatters<\/a>, the Palestinians \u2064and\u2062 their European backers decided to act \u200cas the \u200bJahalin\u2019s \u2064representatives and turn this \u2062into an international spectacle.<\/p>\n<p>First, they fabricated a\u200b name \u200bfor this lawless \u2064encampment to\u2063 make it appear historic: \u201cKhan al Ahmar.\u201d From there, they\u2062 complained to the media \u2064that this destitute group of Arabs was being threatened with forced removal and\u200d ethnic cleansing.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2063 accompanied their manufactured narrative with images of barefoot Bedouin children \u200band began pumping money into the settlement, even \u2064building these \u201cdispossessed\u201d children a school.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually,\u200d the Bedouins were convinced that \u2064they should stay\u2064 put, while the PA and EU launched four separate lawsuits starting\u2063 in 2009 with \u200cthe \u200dIsraeli Supreme Court, an activist body consisting of self-selected and largely liberal judges \u200cwho have crafted a supra-democratic system in which actors with no legal standing are invited to file unlimited petitions \u200cagainst the state.<\/p>\n<p>Israel\u2019s high \u2063court \u200cis notoriously lenient toward\u200c Palestinians, \u2063even at the expense of Israeli safety and \u2064security, \u2064yet \u200ceven it ruled,\u200c in \u2064every \u200done of the \u200bKhan al Ahmar petitions, that the\u2063 squatters must evacuate. The\u2063 French courts called the verdicts a \u201cviolation of international law,\u201d a rich claim given France\u2019s\u2064 own sordid history of forced transfer of its Roma population to Eastern European countries.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2062Israeli government offered the Jahalin a \u2062generous relocation package to the Arab community of \u2064Abu Dis, \u2063located\u200c roughly four miles away.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative would give every wife of the\u2062 polygamous Jahalin households\u200d nearly $140,000 dollars, as well as provide \u2063each with a \u2064plot of land zoned for residential construction in a new \u2062community named Jahalin \u2062West, equipped with water\u2063 and electricity, proper sanitation, education, and welfare services.<\/p>\n<p>If they had accepted, these Bedouins \u2063would be living today in functional homes as part of a community designed specifically for them. Instead, they have been kept in\u200b limbo and cynically used as pawns in a\u200d perverse and corrupt ideological \u2064battle\u200c against the Jewish \u2062state.<\/p>\n<p>For \u206410 years, the\u2062 Bedouin evacuation, relocation\u2063 and demolition orders were suspended, and Jahalin\u200b West remained uninhabited. Recently, squatters have \u2063begun\u2064 to creep in and \u2063erect homes on the plots that had\u2062 been standing empty, a rather ironic predicament given that\u2062 critics \u2063had once complained that the Jahalin could \u2062not possibly be relocated to\u2064 this site\u2062 because it was \u201cunfit for human settlement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Khan al Ahmar is representative of the tactics that the PA regularly\u2063 employs when wresting land rights from \u200dthe state of \u2062Israel.<\/p>\n<p>First, it identifies a strategic point located \u2062far from an existing population center.
